Now that mythic can be duped, rip economy. RIP mythics. RIP wynncraft.
Unless they have a way to track which are duped. I believe tons are duped already :/

P.S. I'm not sure how it exactly works.
1. Is it fixed yet?
2. Does it works with mythics only or all items? ( otherwise le can be duplicated too, true rip in economy)
3. IS there an efficient way to see which are dupes and which aren't, and who duped them, cuz buyers don't know and may be banned innocently.

 

It won't affect the economy even close enough to have any sort of significant impact whatsoever.
And they DO have a way to find duped mythics. People have already been banned for that.

 

I wouldn't mind an economy where Mythics are worth a quarter of what they are right now tbh.

 

If there are an infinity amount of mythics, people who just bought mythics or possessed a lot of mythics planning to sell are broke. Like the wall street crash thing.

Well, if mythics were worth a lot and suddenly 1 mythic can turn to 30 mythic, its what happened in Wall Street.

It's not like I had the money to buy a mythic in the first place. I prefer my legendaries

 

On the one hand its nice to buy mythics with affordable prices but then again I own ore more like "owned" a 9 stack Lament and a I guess 3 Stack Idol so :L

I think the main reason this isn't going to kill the economy is that you can't exactly say you're selling a stack of fatals and not get banned.
If you find duped items or think someone has them tell a mod and you won't get in trouble.

Could you perhaps give us the years that they crashed? Other than the infamous crash that led to the Great Depression, of course.

 

Whoops. I guess I was thinking about stock markets in general. If there was another crash it would be another depression.

 

I mean there was the 2007 housing bubble crash, black monday in 1987, and a number of other crashes in less recent history: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stock_market_crashes_and_bear_markets but those aren't really similar to the wynn economy. Our situation is more like hyperinflation (though in our case it's not caused by the government).

 

I honestly am happy this whole ordeal happened even though I don't support dupping what so ever. I'm happy the mythic prices will drop.
