[opinion] Archer/hunter Is The Best Class [opinion]

This is all my opinion because i like the archer class so much please don't try to be technical with this.

Archers are undoubtedly the best class in wynn. why you might ask? Well In every aspect of pvp, pve or what ever type of combat the archer comes on top.

Dueling
No need to even explain, because Arrow-shield, and Escape with a slight hit of the shift key is easily a win for any archer. Of course levels matter. [This combo works all the time]

Boss Fights
Some might argue mages are op but lets be honest with escape no boss is catching an archer. Aside from their healing powers archers top everything else.

Traveling
What better way to travel then to b a living hulk that hops backwards. Ahh mages do teleport, but that's boring you get no good views. Assassins ehh we still see that puff of black smoke
Also archers climb faster, escapes faster, and we can race with a max white horse.

Strength
Escape: Good for combos, avoiding attacks, escaping and very cool in general
Arrow Bomb: OP
Arrow Shield: Too OP

 

Tfw no warrior ftw in the poll, have you just given up on warrior ._.
Also, you you said shit key instead of shift key in the dueling section

Dueling:
No need to argue, archers win.

Boss Fights:
Archers are so frail that even a toothpick could break them.

Traveling:
Intel Mage wins on flat surfaces.
Archer wins on varied terrain.
White horse beats both on varied terrain.

Strength:
PvM mage wins since they can solo most bosses due to their utility of healing.

 

I've already sort of said something on this topic on my own profile, so I might as well copy/paste here:

"You know, Archers are kind of OP in a bullshit fashion in both PvE and PvP. Shockwaves? Bombs? Super-DPS? Shields? Super speed? Hmm.....

Problem is, if someone even DARES to make a suggestion to fix Archer, all those fucking annoying cheeky Archer mains will shove a stick up your ass and tell you to shut the fuck up

Not just that, throughout the Nether's history, Archers have always been top-tier, don't deny that, and because of that they think they're the fucking best! And that's just bullshit. Who cares about low defense when you can run away and never get hit

Warrior? Go above them, the only danger is their war scream, and even then, it's not strong

Mage? Just go far away and bomb their ass

Assassin? Ha fuck Assassin, just go up to a high place and shoot them down LIIKE A MLG PR0 XDDDDDDDDDD

I don't care if arrow storm got nerfed recently, they need a big rebalance, but like I said, if you try to suggest that...."

In general, class balance as of right now is very fickle, it seems currently that Mages and Archers are the dominate class, Warrior is fine for the most part (he could use a tiny buff), and Assassin is sort of like the pre-Gavel Mage, it can still be effective, but well, yeah.....

 

Actually archer wins in traveling cause of speed 3 and most of their stuff is agility based and gives walk speed
And we're not THAT frail in boss fights ;w;

 

I'm saying specifically inclined terrain.

 

And I'm talking about against mages, not horses :>

list of class from the most op to the slightly up
1) mage
2) archer
3)warrior
4) assassin
archer/mage needs a nerf to the lvl of warrior
assassin needs a buff to the lvl of warrior
and we are all good

 

Why are we basing this off warrior ._.
Can't everything just be buffed to archer level
Also, warrior is good in pve, just kinda bad in pvp

 

because warrior is the most balanced class against mobs/bosses IMO and i think making everything at warrior's lv is a better idea since the game needs to be somewhat difficult

 

IMO warrior might even be better than archer against certain bosses

 

It depends on what you prefer. Because I can do pretty good with warrior and mage but are really bad with archer while my friend is pro with archer.

As an archer player I can tell you Infact no class is the best. Every class excels at different things and playing through gavel i have certainly felt mage and warrior have been more suited for the job.

 

Down to the wire it all depends on how you play the game, no one class is actually better than the other, as a Mage u might be able to heal after taking damage but as an archer u might be able to avoid taking damage by running very fast

So can we please stop debating which class is the best and start making friends with each other? <3

 

Mage because of infinite heal and a good support when comes to boss fight with other players. With mage around constantly giving heals to other players they can't die to a boss fight.

But I haven't tried assassin and archer, so I can't really say which is better. Warrior seems fun to use as well.

I must agree, archer is the most agile class in the game and i always had trouble dueling them as well as had fun using it, however, hunter, even though meant to just change the appearance, is completely useless due to the fact that you dont shoot arrows but gravel, now i know that thats not too much of a big deal, but when someone gets to close to you the 'arrows' dont hit them, and you end up dying. Same thing with silverfish, i wish u good luck hitting one with a hunter, because the item instead of making impact with the hitbox of the silverfish misses, and the speed its travelling at causes the gravel to just slide across the ground. So archer yes, but hunter, a big no....
