Apologies Concerning The Item Bomb Event

As some of you know, I organized an event consisting of me launching over 100 item bombs. I wanted to please people but sadly I did it the wrong way.

Two days before it, I told the forum my intentions as well as a specific server where the event would take place. What a big mistake. I did not expect that many people to join in. Even hours before the event, the server I told people to go to was full. So full that there was absolutely no way for me to get in whatsoever.

60 people per server was just not enough to contain all the people that wanted to participate. Although I do blame myself. I know some people waited hours in the expected server and I just disappointed them.

I tried to contact the staff to know if there was any way for me to get in. Sadly, it was not possible. My last resort was to choose another server. To spice things up, I did not announce the new server immediately but instead wrote an equation for people to solve and eventually figure out where to go. Sadly, the people who added me as friend did not have to solve the equation considering it was written in there friend list.

For some parts, I was not the one to blame. The infrastructure provided by Wynncraft is not meant to support such things. But I do support them and am sure they will do their best to make things even better.

Even with all that, I could not and still cannot stop thinking about the poor people that wasted there time waiting where they should have...

Please bare with me, this got a little bit out of control, and I did my best to please atleast some of you.

You should definitely not blame yourself! Thank you so much for holding this event in the first place =w= I'm sure everyone who participated is extremely grateful

If anything, blame our crappy player capacity :p

 

Aye man, I'm sure that it was fun for the people there. And, 59 people got to have a really great time. That's a lot of smiles. Even if some people where unhappy, you can't exactly make everyone happy. I hope you don't feel guilty at all.

 

Blame the max capacity per world, not yourself. At least you got to give a lot of items to those who were lucky enough to be in the same world as you.

 

I feel responsible in a few ways, but I'm still grateful some people were there to enjoy it after all.

 

I was afk in this server the whole time
so when I came back I was like
'wtf'
'oh cool'
*disconnects*

 

I'm not at home, so I tried to use the connection on my phone on my computer, it was successful for 5 minutes, sadly I missclick on 20, go back to hub, and after that it never success again... My friends (Who are bad at english) don't look at the forums so I'm sure they are like "OMG why he change at the last minute stupid man." They are mean ;(

 

As humans, we never learn to appreciate for what we already have. Instead, we lash out for what we can't get.

Truth be told, don't mind the people who are mad. I didn't get any items, but I'm still thankful that you bought all of those bombs still. It really helps the server and does the community some good to give back :)

I get you. I wasn't there or anything, but maybe next time you throw a bunch of bombs you can hop from server to server as quickly as possible so:

1. Everyone playing Wynn gets at least one bomb

2. You don't clog up any servers!

It wasn't your fault that the item bombs didn't go as planned!

you have completely right. :)

 

At the end of the day whether you got to participate in the bombs or not, you were still trying your best to make sure that as much people as possible were happy and receiving items you had promised them. Now should you of tried to get into the server earlier that way you didn't have to cancel on the people who had been waiting on server 12 for a few hours? Maybe, but thank you for at least trying to make people were satisfied. At the time I was personally ticked off that you switched servers at last moment, but you still were just trying to make people happy without any reason to do so. Thank you for having this great event and understanding your mistake.

Not his fault if the server is full 2 hours before the event and tgat there is still atleast 100 people who spam the lobby.
