Hey, I'm a player that's been gone for a good while just wondering about some news.

What's the news with Corkus? is it a new province?

Fruma? Dern? Bloomi? Morgor?

If anyone would answer that'd be great :D Thanks :)

 

Corkus

the Corkians say its a province but the other provinces just see it as a Island, the corkians fled Fruma and swam like 50 blocks and thought, hey were smurt lets built steampunk-ish
This isnt the real lore btw its something like that hehe

u can walk along the Corkus coast but not enter the Island cuz there machine's are broken(the contents isnt ready for us players)

u can visit the Fruma gate some guy will say that the queen is mean and doesnt want anyone in or out Fruma

 

Corkus was originally a province made up by a forumer called MrCoffeeTime. It eventually became a meme and then Tantibus posted an April Fool's thread - a changelog for the Corkus update. It wasn't until... August I think (when the Gameplay Update came out) that Corkus was confirmed to be canon. A while ago, Grian streamed a sort of 'sneak peek' into Corkus (it was more of an overview...). It's an island.Corkus (or the residents of Corkus) wants to be recognized as a province, but Wynn and Gavel are too absorbed in their own issues (decay, corruption) to recognize Corkus. The residents of Corkus are Fruman rebels - they escaped Fruma for an unknown reason (I think it's unknown... it might just be that they wanted to be free of the opressive monarchy). However, they intruded on the island's indigenous species, the Avos. The Avos don't like the Corkians. Corkusians?

Fruma is the province where the player supposedly originated from. Magic is unavailable to all except to the royal family. The citizens live under a very oppressive monarchy. Not too much is known about the place.

Dern is the province (or arguably it's a realm) where the Eye is, and a supposed province of darkness. If Gavel is the 'light' province, Wynn is the unlucky who got caught in between, then Dern must be the 'dark' province. A place you go in the level 90 quest 'Fantastic Voyage' is rumored to be Dern.

Bloomi was a province that Grian said during the official Corkus stream. He needed a province name to make an example, and he said 'Bloomi.'
Morgor is when Grian was looking at the Fruman gate. It was large and black, and Grian compared it to the dark gate of Mordor, except he pronounced it wrong... he kept saying 'Morgor.'

 

Fruma's gate = Black Gate of Mordor
Dern = The Eye of Sauron

Too much Mordor. Stahp stealing from LOTR. Not to mention all of the characters and even the quest that they ripped off.
