What Mobs Drop The Oni Helm?

Just asking, can someone pls tell me

So, it still can drop it? I heard that is is grindable at lvl 30 places, but idek

I though that they made it un-obtainable.

 

I killed it like 30 times and it never dropped, so I'm guessing it's unobtainable.

 

I killed Death Oni several times and I can confirm that it does drop the helmet. It only drops from Death Oni, and it takes several times before it will drop the helmet (RNG based, so it's all luck based). I've gotten the helmet at least twice, and maybe a third time (although I'm not 100% sure).

Also, the helmet is untradable, so the only way to get it is through killing the Death Oni. He respawns fast enough, so if you have decent attack strength it shouldn't take too long to get the helmet.

I started playing after Gavel came out, so yes, I obtained the Oni Helm recently. I will say it required several kills before it dropped, but it is possible. It should drop as a black helmet if it drops from Death Oni.

 

There is an Oni Set, right?

No, there is not an Oni Set. The only piece of "exclusive" armor that drops from Half-Moon Island is the Oni Helm.

I'd say anywhere from about 10 to 50 times. I was able to kill it quickly though because of the fairly fast respawn rate, so getting to 50 kills will take only about 30 minutes or shorter (if you have decent attack and defense).

 

So, what's the huge fuss over the helm?

 

It's a fairly good helmet for lv30 players, plus it's black (though I have no idea if colors matter). Maybe the OP doesn't have a decent helmet for his/her level, and he/she would rather get the Oni Helm for its better stats.

Plus, it's an item that's unique in its own way. Of course, for whatever reason it can't be traded...

She was just bringing up that maybe some folks might like to wear a different color of helmet other than leather/gold/chain. It's got nothing to do with… that.
