What's The Deal With The Sky Islands?

Sorry for basically spam posting but coming back after 9 months I have a lot of stuff to say. Last post I promise.

My question is how the hell to the sky islands even exist? Like you have all these canyons and mountains high on the sky and very land based and then between that and the ocean you get floating get islands? Like wtf? Is there some more I haven't discovered yet as I haven't gotten to level 90's yet?

 

Ahms regions > Cataclysm > Sky Islands

That's in the level 97 quest, The Fortuneteller.

Well years ago god farted and it caused an earthquake. It smelled SOO bad that it made the void. The islands are able to float because of all the gasses from the stinky void.

A ripoff from "A Neverending Story" got mad at the villagers for their greed
so they blew up the Ahms region and made the only way to get to them a ripoff of Jack and the Beanstalk

if u do 'one thousand meters under' quest , u will understand everything

 

You shouldn't ask these kind of questions until you have done all quests because the 1000 meters under quest explains a lot. I'd advise you to do it. :)

 

It exists solely so the build team can show off they can make awesome skylands
