Psa: This Isn't A Wynncraft Subforum

I don't really think that the "serious" tag fits here, but it's still not a joke thread.
So I haven't been too active on the forums lately, aside from my profile posts and my rediculous username changes (and, as a result of my constant state of sleeplessness, sometimes a little too rediculous) and posts in the Your Work section, and that's mainly because I became disinterested in Minecraft as a whole. I don't hate it, but it's not something that I play anymore and I don't enjoy watching things about Minecraft anymore. Now, this place used to be named "non-minecraft", if I remember correctly, and as such I used to hang around here a lot because it's a non-minecraft subforum. All was well, but then the Wynncraft overlords changed it to "Nemract's Bar", in order to stay in character or something. I wouldn't be opposed it it either, if the description wasn't just "general chit-chat". That doesn't tell you that it is a non-minecraft subforum. So people are posting Wynncraft related threads on here instead of on the Wynncraft subforum, which is really inconvenient for people who either aren't in the mood for Wynncraft at that moment or simply just enjoy the community that it's generated. That's why I'm still here; the community and the staff are AMAZING. But out of a sequence of unfortunate events, my favorite place on the forums has become a steaming hot mess because of simple ambiguity.

TL;DR Nemract's Bar is non-minecraft. Also, can anyone please change that description so it actually describes something?

 

Most of the posts here are what would be considered shitposts in the wynncraft section. They're harmless and most of the time funny. The threads that do talk about serious things are often on the front page, but full of recycled news. There are only two threads on the front page with serious. One is a popular joke thread. I don't believe that one thread warrants a psa. If this where an issue of the proportions it's presented as, the mods and more active community members would have condemned these actions already.

 

Personally, I don't like this section being a "shitposting section". It's really detrimental to those who want to post something that's not a shitpost but still entertaining. If anything, that warrants a "shitposting section" (albiet with a less profane name) more than transforming the non-minecraft section into it.

 

Lol the shitposting section is VIP plaza... not here.

 

Although I'd assume that not everyone is a VIP.
