    well let's do some math

a .mca file in the "region" folder of a save (henceforth referred to as a region file) seems to take up ~2-4 mb per region in a standard world (let's say 3 mb as an average; there's quite a few 2 mb and 4 mb region files in a fairly old world)
even though most region files don't get to 2-4 mb, this is likely because some chunks are loaded more than others. can't be sure about this, though, so take this result as a high estimate.

based on map.wynncraft.com, the total width of the world is ~7444 blocks, and the length ~5373 blocks.
region files store 32x32x256 areas (although we can ignore the height in these statistics, since region files are stored as (chunk #x, chunk #z))
that's around 233 chunks of width, and 186 chunks of length, meaning there's ~43,338 region files (not counting all the off-map areas).

so, given ~3 mb per region file, we can say the size of the world is about 130 gigabytes.
    EDIT: it's gigabytes, 43338 * 3mb = 130014 mb, or 130 gb

i feel like i'm a bit off here, but this all seems sound
although we'll never know the true file size until an owner reveals it

Well the current map size is smaller than the one on the build server more often than not. But 130gb seems accurate. I wouldn't shoot any less than that. In fact, I'd be surprised if it were less than that.
