Archer/Hunter Tree Archer

Hi! I recently got a level 100 archer, and I figured I should make a build for it. As a former water mage, I wanted lots of mana, heals, and in general good survivability in normal fighting and against bosses. Naturally, this happened:

Helmet: Morph-Stardust
Fits this build perfectly. Mana regeneration, needed skill points, hp, and elemental defense. Goes towards being decently tanky and spammy.

Chestplate: Hetusol
Best choice for what I was aiming for. High mana regen, and really good health regen. Destroys thunder and earth defenses, but that will be fixed later :P

Leggings: Hephaestus-Forged Greaves
Great hp bonus and elemental defenses, for tanking. Adds walk speed to negate the -walk speed on Hetusol, and patches thunder defense on said item. Also adds a bit of damage (not like I really care) as well as more hp regeneration.

Boots: x4

1: Snail boots
Fits with the original theme of the build, being tank with high hp regen and high hp bonus. -ws is negated by the leggings, and -water defense is somewhat compensated for with hetusol.

2: Meme (n) Toes
High mana regen and raw spell damage. Using this pair of boots, qira soloes are possible. (No kidding, I've done it once with this build, no potions needed :) )

3: Fermion
High hp, cactus, mana regeneration, and extra defense. Great overall.

4: Virgos
If you want to have mana regen and be a total cactus, this is for you! Great synergy with the high raw health regen this build has. Use in most PVP scenarios, if you have no sportsmanship.

Spoiler: Accessories

Rings: 2x Prism
Prism is a great ring overall. Provides needed elemental defense, also counters some -% defenses from leggings. -1000 hp won't matter much, as you have around 16k hp with Snail boots on and 14-15k with Fermion/Memento. Also makes you a mini-cactus.

Bracelet: Choice of Nebulous or Prowess
Nebulous: Raw spell for qira soloes, elemental defense, some %spell damage.

Prowess: Boosts skill points so you can use Gale's Force (if you want that dodge and that +30% walk speed.)

Necklace: Morph-Ruby
Boosts skill points. Golemus core may be better, just haven't tried it yet.

Spoiler: Weapon(s)

Damage: Freedom
Doesn't work in PVP scenarios, but does the most damage out of all bows I use. Great bow in general, with mana regen and hp bonus.

Damage: Stinger
I would never use this bow except in PVP. It has -hp regen and is super slow, among other reasons. However, it deals crazy neutral damage and good poison. Cactus+poison is a good strategy against some builds, and super-high neutral works against tanks. (mostly)

EDIT: Stinger is good for Qira soloes. I wonder which genius figured that one out.
I switch between Stinger and FoC for hp regen and clearing minions vs damaging Qira herself.

Qira: Fog of Creation
Yes. Use a rainbow bow for soloing Qira. What is the logic, you ask?
It has hp regen for healing up without potions.
It has raw spell for dealing more damage with arrow storm.
It deals rainbow damage, letting you clear hive drones easily as they are guaranteed to be weak to FoC's attacks.

There we go! Rainbow bows for Qira.

Cluster:
I wanted to try it out. Don't judge. Does good damage on a good roll.

Ensa's resolve:
Mana regen, %hp regen, idk. Does damage to wybel I guess?

Gale's force:
You can try to be sanic, but not even close.

Spoiler: Skill points and stats

1. Put 12 skp in each skill to wear Morph-Ruby.
2. Put on Morph-Ruby and Nebulous.
3. Put on skp until you have 20 in each stat.
4. Put on Stardust
4.1: Put on skp until you have 25 in each stat, then put on the 2 Prisms.
4.2: Put on skp until you have 33 in defense, dexterity, and agility. Put on hephaestus-forged greaves.
5. Put on Defense until you have 55.
6. Put on Hetusol.
7. Put skp on intelligence until you're happy with it. (I use a 70% reduction, that is 113 + 1 skp.)
8. Dump rest on to agility.

Total skill points (minimum):
+3 each from stardust
+3 each from ruby, prismsx2

21 27 21 49 27 = 145 skill points, assuming min rolls on everything. Leaves you with 53 skp play room. Its impossible to fail this build.

My final stats:

Bomb arrow - 3 mana
Arrow shield - 3 mana
Arrow storm - 2 mana
Escape - 1 mana

35 + 1 in Strength (30.5%)
36 + 1 in Dexterity (31.2%)
113 + 1 in Intelligence (70%)
64 + 1 in Defense (48.6%)
41 + 1 in Agility (34.6%)

Good point. Depends on if you want more defs + poison and less regen and hp or if you prefer higher extra agility points and a bit more hp. :)

 

What are the damages with freedom for this build?

 

Low, something like 6-7k :/

This build does not do great damage. It specializes in PvE, with decently high mana regen and good hp regen.

Haven't tried that XD

Maybe with a defense potion, at least that's what I've heard works for normal rainbow arch. I don't like using potions - they cost emeralds :)
