Moto-online, Copy Of Wynncraft?

I won't say about this server much cause this server isn't even on beta, also I don't have much information.








...So, what do you think? Do we have to punish it or just let it go (WTF)

This is like that one hollow copy of overwatch a random Japanese team made... there's just no creative input implemented into this whatsoever.

Terrian from what I could see looks nothing like Wynn
However from what I've seen in most of the videos, it does take currency (maybe) , items and item designs from Wynn.

Items wise, most of the items I've seen so far look very similar to those in Wynn same goes for elements as they use the same elements (air water ect.) and same symbols for them that we see in Wynn, however I won't brag on the item tags (; e.g mythic and epic) as most of those are found in many MMO's already. Not to mention most of the ID's shown are of exactly the same to Wynn.

Currency wise is a maybe. There could be some MMO's that use emeralds (some less known), however if EB and LE are present it is a copy.

As for terrain, if there is a world map of the server that looks similar to Wynn, please let me know and if not then... yeah


Also the half of the weapon skins I've seen look exactly like the ones in Wynn e.g Thunder Dagger Claw-thing for assassins.

In conclusion, this does strike a very similar stance to Wynn, however, if there is more than what is being shown that looks like Wynn, there could be some problems.

In the end it is up to the Wynncraft admins whether they want to investigate it for themselves but as we can clearly see, there hasn't been any effort to make their own style of Gameplay, either way, this server will not live long whether it being financial reasons, to people boycotting or to the admins taking action against it, if they please

I'm supposed to be taking a one day hiatus (for personal reasons) however I need to say this:

I feel like people are jumping to conclusions too quickly.

I feel like this might be a fan project, similar to how people were, or still are (not sure if it's still happening or not) making a Wynncraft game, like a seperate game from Minecraft...

It actually makes me happy that people are trying to replicate it, which means that we could be seeing a different take with the Wynn formula.

Now I'm not saying blatently copying Wynn is a good idea, oh hell no. I feel like theybcould have been a little more creative with the elements they used. But tbh, this person IMO is doing this as a passion project, maybe they are really into Game design, or something like that, and this is their start in that field. Or whatever.

And besides, there is no evidence to support that this server is going to be a flat out big server where it's an MMORPG or whatever... other than the patch videos. And even then I woild think they understand what their competition is...

Hell, they even play Wynncraft, so I bet you anything they are a fan of Wynncraft as stated here:

So all together, I really just feel like people might be jumping to conclusions a little bit here.

 

Eh I mean honestly it just seems like they copied elements and how stats and lore work in wynn, I wouldn't really mind that though. Maybe if they start to copy EXACT systems, classes and abilities.
Edit: A vid on the channel has mobs that at least visually copy wynn... You can also find wynn videos from that channel, probably the reason.

I saw that Wynncraft was on their server list, too.

Listen, we should not go off and do anything to either this player, who plays Wynncraft, to their server, or to anything associated with them. Don't give the community here a bad name. The server will come to the attention of the Wynncraft owners, and if they decide that they need to say or do anything, that will be up to them. And, as 'Hoke pointed out, they are going through a lot of work to make something that is even remotely like Wynn, and they are doing it, obviously, because they are a fan. Who knows? Maybe they'll apply for a content team position, and be a great asset. In any event, the community does not need to get all crazy and do stupid things. So, chill, peeps.
