The Headless Hunt Quest - Impossible To Beat The Lost Soul (need Help)

I'm a level 64 Warrior and wanted to try the quest The Headless Hunt. While on following the objectives, I came across the Lost Spirits that I need to kill in order to complete the quest. The problem is, It's impossible (For me I assume) to beat the Lost Spirits. Everytime I deal damage to it, it'll recover to its full health. I looked up on some guides on the quest, and the people who did it can beat the Lost Spirits. I am missing something? Is the quest broken? I need help defeating it. Need tips or hints.

 

Just have super high damage I guess.

 

Just keep attacking, it takes like 5 minutes to kill, or as said above, try and get a higher damage weapon.

 

I just did easily I think using a mage is 10x easier

 

The Lost Spirit is able to be defeated, though it may take a while depending on your damage output. Try to focus all of your attacks on the mob, and only divert your attacks if another hostile mob attacks you. Also, try to spam as many spells on the Lost Spirit as you can, as it will quicken the process of damaging the mob.

 

Make sure you are using gear close to your level, and maybe start focusing on a skill build that can further the capabilities of your class.

 

what weapon are you using

everything is 10x easier as a mage

 

I dropped it quick as an archer but my son needed assistance running as a warrior. The thing is very high HP and the other gits that spawn there distract you from taking it out faster than it can regen. But spells, range and pure violent intent can help greatly.

Thank you. Funny thing is my son's interest has faded while mine has grown. Much to my wife's annoyance.
