Mage/Dark Wizard Mage Poison Build

What armor would you guys recommend to go with a poison build for mage? I don't care about spell dmg, and the staff ill use is Gaia, which I still need to obtain (may take a few years...). I Just want to know any recommendations on what armor, rings, bracelet and necklace I should get.

 

You could try using Rot of Dernel, it's got more poison than Gaia with fewer requirements, but the damage is a LOT lower.

 

Helmet : Cancer
Chestplate : Terra's Mold
Leggings : Leggings of Desolation
Boots : Scorpio

Rings : Acid x2
Bracelet : Krolton's Cruelty
Necklace : Planet Healer?

Weapon : Rot of Dernel (or Gaia if you really want to use it)

Playstle : Basically hit and run. Your first hit won't deal much damage, but the poison it inflicts deals massive blows. Also when you are low you can life steal enemies while they are poisoned ;o

Yea it might do only 1/10th of the melee dmg but therefor i get up to 3x the poison on the weapon. I am gonna be using this one until i find/buy a gaia

I approve the Scorpio Boots and Cancer Helmet, those are truly amazing. On the other hand, the chestplate, leggins and also the cancer give a huge decrease in elemental damage, which concerns me a lot since my heal spell wont heal too much due to all the - spell dmg. Any legendaries/rares that give tonnes of poison and not as much - elemental defense?

EDIT: The total amount of poison (max stat on each) with this set is 13433/3s..... Max poison dmg in the entire game xD

Just don't use poison

I mean for the chestplate you could use Spinal Tap for poison and some less negative stuff

Considering the next update is coming soon enough and poison builds are terminal cancer, nope.

The only thing that affect heal is lower WATER damage. So there's basically no problem.
