Is Relic Armor Any Good?

Hey guys, quick question!

I was just wondering if it's worth getting all the relic armor pieces so I can use the full set at 35. I'm 32 currently on an assassin.

At 35, YES!

At the level that you are probably gonna find and get all the pieces, no.

 

I second this... I have only found the boots and the bow. And I only got around to finding these when I was already past level 70, so not so hot. But if I had them when I was level 25 (at least that's the level req'd to wear the boots) they would have been pretty good. Right now, if I scrounge up any more, I'll be collecting them to pass on to one of my future characters.

Ive found all the armor, and know the locations of the weapons but have not gotten them.

I got the chestplate at level 30 tho so that was good

The trick is always trying to find useful gear while you're still at the appropriate level to use it. My meager experience is that low level characters seem to move up faster than you can find "good" stuff. By the time you find what you were looking for, you've graduated to a higher grade of gear.

Now that I understand this, I've been creating new characters of other classes and getting them through the first quest and park them at the Ragni Bank. When I find choice gear that's either too low level or not for my primary class, I dump it to the bank then /class to the appropriate character and fill their inventory with stuff they at least might be able to use at some point.

I've broken down and bought some replacements for lost bows. But I've found my erratic schedule makes connecting with sellers a hassle, and doing so eats in to my already limited time for running amuck across the countryside. I prefer to hunt for me own toys, just wish we had bigger pocketses.

The relic gear are really good for Low level rainbow builds due to their ids and elemental defences(?). They also have really good bonuses that would be otherwise unobtainable.
