Archer/Hunter Help Maelstrom Or Spiritshock?

Hey, everyone.
So, my level 84 archer currently has a build that works. However, my main weapon, Maelstrom (I know that I'm using a level 70 weapon at level 84), isn't doing enough damage to most mobs at the level, but it has stats that I like. So my question is, should I switch to Spiritshock? I've heard from some that it's an absolute beast of a weapon and excellent for thunder builds. I've also been told it's completely worthless.

Here's my Spiritshock (not exactly the best...):

I use a maelstrom build at level 90. Its probably the most damaging bow I've found around that level. I'd keep using it, or your stats are wrong.

 

Same.. I am a 93 archer and use Maelstrom and Bob's Mythic. I put a T5 fire powder of Maelstrom so I can do every damage. Maelstrom - Water, Air, Thunder and Fire. Bobs - Neutral and Earth (with bomb arrow)

 

You can do every element with just Bob's though
Bomb is fire and earth
Thunder with Arrow Storm
Shield is water and air

 

Too slow attack speed for me :D. I just like Maelstrom

 

Stick with maelstrom, it's a total shit kicker of a bow, I used it from level 70-89
(And that was without powders)

 

Maelstrom is really good for spell builds, if you want melee only, you should switch to something else.

 

Well, don't get me started Maelstrom is a very good bow. I believe it does 3k Arrow bombs, now spirit shock does like 4K arrow bombs without powders, I'm not sure if it does more with powder but, it really depends on your build. I suggest spirit shock because of good lifesteal, poison, spell damage.

 

AZ, Corrupted witherhead's bow, Scytodidae?

 

Bob's mythic, even with powders, is horrible. I have tested it.

Keep Bob's Mythic bow for Qira (only saying this because bob's bow was brought up)

Spiritshock for dex and agil builds

Maelstrom for a rainbow build and most other cases

The Corrupted Witherhead is on my Acquire ASAP List. Only thing slowing me down is the difficulty finding Nii Guardians... I've got 16 broken keys and only 1 Nii Rune in my inventory.

The only thing I don't like is the walking speed reduction. Not huge, but annoying.

High RoF bows are a must for me, so I typically reject bows with anything less than a Normal Weapon Speed. But if I ever find some useful Weapon Speed increase items, I may expand my options.

And 2+ Powder Slots always get priority for me because of my experimenting with Powder Specials and the ability to add damage to the existing stats.
