Guide Having Server Errors Or Issues?

Is the problem server-side or client-side?
If you aren't sure, you'll know if the error happens in game, for example like this:

My error is server-side, how to fix it?
1. Just try to wait it out and try different servers.
2. If that doesn't work, the chances are that you will need to contact the server staff and request a data wipe on your account. (This means losing ALL progress you have done)
You also might want to report the error at https://github.com/Wynncraft/Issues just in case, so the devs can take a look at what might be wrong.
To request a data wipe, you could try github (not really meant for this) or just directly contacting staff.
Sadly there is no efficient way of fixing these problems, which is understandable.

My error is server-side, but in the lobby. How to fix it? (Empty compass)
1. Simply type /hub till you get connected to a working lobby.

My error is client-side, how to fix it?
There are multiple reasons that could cause this issue, so I'll just provide steps that might or might not fix your problem:
1. Make sure you are on the right Minecraft version (currently 1.8.x-1.10.x)
2. Make sure you are connected to the internet and that Wynncraft is up
3. Wait for a while, it might just be the servers derping
4. Make sure to try an completely fresh Minecraft client without mods
5. Try reinstalling your current minecraft version (go to %appdata% -> Roaming\.minecraft\versions\YourVersion and remove the version you want reinstalled)
6. Search your exact error message online and try to find a solution if nothing above worked
7. Don't bother reinstalling/uninstalling java since it already comes with minecraft (minecraft has it's own java version independent from your pc's general java)
8. Reinstall your whole .minecraft file, but backup saves, mods, servers, screenshots, resourcepacks and options. You might also want to save your mod files if mods have created those, to keep the options.


If nothing above fixed your problem, you might simply not be able to play. The best option is to just keep looking around google for possible solutions, maybe go as far as to try a completely different launcher that is not supported by Mojang (MultiMC, Magic Launcher)
