Map Tracking Isn't Working For Me?

When I go to the website map, I'm unable to track where me nor my friends are - I just get the map. I'm standing near Rymek right now, but when I look on the site, I don't show up at all. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

 

try reloading the website, if that doesn't work then it's defiantly a bug

 

definitely* sorry but a spelling mistake so large it turns into an entirely different word that changes the meaning of the sentence needs to be corrected

 

Map tracking has never worked for me since the day it was released.

 

It bunk you need to log into forums first and then use the map link from the menu

 

If you mean open the map via the forums menu bar, that doesn't work either.

 

For me I've had it work once when I opened it from the forums menu bar when I was logged in, but that might've been luck

 

Try these:

Log in to the forums and check "Stay logged in"

Try a different browser.

Try different Minecraft versions

 

I'm already doing that.

Neither Firefox nor Google Chrome work.

This is probably a bug. I'd try sending it to the GitHub, but if not, here are some ideas that are quick to do,

• Reload the page
• Reload Minecraft

 

the friend tracking is extremly glitchy, it simply doesnt work right, has stuff missing, unfinished and left behind. Me and @Kirdow were using the tracking api for our mod and we noticed how buggy it is. dont fully rely on it tbh

 

try reporting on github

 

clear everything other than personal shit and history if yer using chrome
