Assassin/Ninja Help Super Fast / High Damage (looking For)

I saw someone that had either a very fast or super fast weapon ad was doing 4-5k+ per hit and dont know what build it is. Can someone point me to some possible builds?

thats what i was thinking... but even with that wouldnt you need some really really glass canon like build of that dmg? ._. i mean 4 to 5k+ melee hits every time... idk thats a lot.. even for cata XD

 

Electrocharge Greaves + Chestplate of Ineptitude + Clock Boots + Wall breaker?

Cancer + earth damage boosting stuff + Grimtrap with 3x Tier 6 Earth powders would get that damage and attack speed quite easily lol
With just 2 and no damage boosts you get 2-3k hits

As for the build:
perhaps something like:

cancer (max attack speed = 13)
taurus (the new min. negative attack speed = 14)

The specialist

Spoiler: A damage per hit calculation

(Please keep in mind that %elemental damage and %melee damage are additive, instead of multiplicative.)

Max melee dmg% possible: -98 + 26 + 20 + -15 = -67%
Max elemental dmg% possible: +650 +2 = +652% water damage.
2 T6 water powders = min 26 - max 32 water damage
Max amount of water dmg = 10.56 + 208.65 = 219.21 --> 219
Min amount of water dmg = 8.58 + 169.52 = 177.1 --> 177
Amount of raw melee dmg = 1300

1300 + 219 = 1519
1300 + 177 = 1477

And we've also got an amazing strength bonus. Let's say... +70% damage from strength. (idk strength bonus, but considering taurus' +13 and the specialists +20, you should have AT LEAST 113 strength when using maxed gear.)

max damage with strength: 1590 x 1.7 = 2703
min damage with strength: 1477 x 1.7 = 2614.29 --> 2614

max damage with strength AND dexterity (You should have at least 125 dexterity with maxed stats.) = 2703 + 1519 = 4222

And than, now my reasoning for using water powders: THE CURSE EFFECT!

The curse efffect, with 2 T6 powders will make you deal +260% damage.
Meaning that your damage would be x3.6

So max damage with curse active = 4222 x 3.6 = 15199.2 --> 15199
and min damage = 2614 x 3.6 = 9410.4 --> 9410

PER HIT! EXCLUDING POISON! AT SUPER FAST ATTACK SPEED!
(at super fast attack speed you hit 4 times/second meaning your dps is that damage TIMES 4!
MAX DPS = 15199 x 4 = 60796
(min dps = 9410 x 4 = 37650)
(average dps = (60796 + 37650):2 = 49218)

OVER 49 THOUSAND AVERAGE DPS!
I = proud at myself.

(Now that I've calculated everything it seems a but unreal, as high as the damage is. But I've calculated everything right, I believe. But I'm uncertain as to where in the calculation the curse effect takes place, I'm assuming at the end of the calculation due to the fact that it's applied to the mob that's cursed instead of the attacker. There's a chance I'm wrong, though.)

A powder effect only works for he element the powder is. So curse only multiplies water dmg

 

id suggest this build but swap wind mimic for stalagmites (this is the build i was planning on doing xD)

 

Strength doesn't multiply raw melee damage and as said above, curse only increases water damage
So um yeah otherwise cata with water powders would be around 5k DPS with no buffs from anything

 

That's why courage is the best one

Curse increases more than just water damage, whenever I'm using a T4 powder curse with my whimsy, it increases air damage. I'm not quite sure about raw melee. That's not been tested by me, but it does increase air damage.

Thanks for telling me about the strength not multiplying raw melee damage, though.

The new best attack speed for taurus is now -14. Whilst the max for cancer is +13. So it's still viable.

Considering how the people above said that some things are wrong with it, don't trust the damage calculation anymore. (it should still dish out alot, but not quite that much.)

 

Courage affects all elements. It's basically a 2x DPS for anybody near you.
