Which Is Your Favourite Update And Your Least One?

No not the Wynnter one, lol. that was december 2014. The 'update' I mean was more like a patch, but I consider it as an update because it nerfed the best grinding spot in game. And I'm absolutely sure it was around June/July 2015.

 

my favorite was the hallowynn/craftmas updates, even this year, because they are holidays and have rare items so you filthy newcomers wont have stuff that i do have, like the hallowynn 2014 quests hallowynn mask (and i am not selling it), with my least fav being EULA updates because
1. EULA sucks, and
2. THEY TOOK AWAY MOB TOWERS

Ehm.. I think you got your dates wrong. Wynnter was 22th December, 2014. And the Herb cave was the best grinding spot to get to lvl 75. Temple of Legends didn't have a high spawn rate back then and the spawn rate of the Herb cave was insane. We're talking about January 2015 - June/July 2015. The best way to grind wasn't afk grinding actually, it was grinding in the herb cave from levels 50-75.

I wasn't a forumer back then (nor did I follow the news) so I didn't really know what happened until the update was upon me (I was about level 30 lol). And then everything changed and there wasn't any foreshadowing (or something like that), so it just hit me like BAM! NEW STUFF IN YO FACE! And I didn't like that. At all. So I quit. I really can't say anything about Hallowynn 2014 or the Wynnter update, as I wasn't playing Wynncraft back then. I joined about 2 months after Gavel.

As far as the news thing goes, I probably wouldn't have liked the Gameplay Update if I didn't follow the news. I think it's knowing that helps me like updates more.

My favourite update is the Gavel Expansion because there was a whole new province to explore and to be honest I don't have a least favourite because updates are supposed to make the game better.

 

did this update even add anything but reshitmaking dungeons and ruining the desert for add a meaningless zone...?

Favorite update has to be the Gavel Update. Before then, I explored every nook and cranny there was in Wynn, and even went on above the door to Llevigar before it was even built. After the update, I really had fun exploring all the new places, because they looked amazing and I loved the lore that came in with the places, especially how Aldorei Valley literally made me scared on edge with the story it had. I also liked the update because while the new item system and builds confused me in the beginning, I've learned to grow a liking for them and the way it works. The only bad side of this update that I kinda don't like is the Mythic Weapons basically ruining the economy. (And I wish I could replay the whole thing without remembering what's everything like.)

In my opinion, the gameplay update has to be my least favorite. While it did fix many old bugs like cactus builds and tier attack spell damage, it brought more nuances with poison builds. I also don't like the way the new soul point system works. It may seem cool to call the game harder now, but I just feel it kinda was unnecessary and puts more stuff to worry about for players. I do like the powders, however I don't like how much it takes to get a T6 Powder. I also feel the powder specials need to be buffed a bit, they seem really weak and not really used often. The dungeons are great, but I'm still waiting for those end game dungeons that kinda require team work, and like not a mosh pit like in Qira hive.

 

My favorite was the Relic Update and beyond.
My least All-time favorite was the Corkus Update.

What? I still don't understand that. It makes death mean something rather than nothing. Would you rather be warned over and over, and when you've pushed too far that one time suddenly have everything taken away? It stops the /kill teleporters. (I know that sometimes you do get stuck somewhere, just wait, lol There should be a /stuck command)

 

Lol you have no idea, with the proper soul point regen kit you can still be a /kill teleporter.
I don't even have one and I do it on occasion.
Most valuable thing I lost was a magic feather.

 

To those who disliked the mob update:

Did you prefer a crappier, old map with trash builds? I'm positive that nostalgia is the only thing that will make anyone say that they did.
As for the changes in gameplay mechanics, I won't argue with anyone. Big gameplay changes like that can be difficult to adjust to after playing a game one way for so long.

Favorite Update: April Fools Day 2014 (rip squiggles)
Least Favorite Update: that one update that added missions to the right of your screen like who even uses missions anyway

 

Make Daily Repeatable Quests a thing.

 

Favorite: Gavel
Least Favorite: Probably this years HalloWynn Update because it didn't add allllllllll that much. (Like a bunch of store changes and then like 3 new quests, like why...)

 

Fav: Gavel or gameplay.
Least Favorite: The one that just came out. Severely hurts group grinding

 

k nvm now my least favourite is this one that nerfed mob totems
rip grinding groups,farmed for 1 hour,got a 1% of xp...

before i would have obtained a entire level with this...

MAKE TOTEMS GREAT AGAIN

 

Nobody has mentioned the Quest Update yet, even though it's the only reason Wynn's still popular to this day. It's my favourite for sure.


Least favourite was Fruma because my least favourite update hasn't happened yet <3
