Hello all! As you may know (probably not) I've been dead ingame for a long while now. I'm looking to come back and start playing again as my level 75 assassin, so please remember I only have 148 skill points to use! I understand that skill points aren't the only thing a build depends on, but I'll worry about finding armor later.

What I'm looking for in a build:
    - Plenty of health
    - Lots of damage
    - A little bit of speed so that I'm not too slow

I don't understand builds at all still, so if you could comment the amount of skill points for each category below and explain what the build does, it would be greatly appreciated!

50 dex, 41 int, 57 agility, maybe? It's prolly one of the more basic glass cannon setups, with good ws, damage and ok spells

Maybe you could go for dex/def? Items with def will often give you a ton of health, while dex items often boost damage by a lot and sometimes give some walk speed. And you could use the dagger Black later if you go dex/def.

"Plenty of health" - I'm gonna assume ya mean being able to tank enough damage so ya don't get one shot.
"Lots of damage" - A bit obvious.
"A bit of speed" - Its gonna be hard to incorporate this since defense(Fire) usually gives negative walkspeed, but we'll see.

58 defense, 50 dexterity or strength (your choice), and 40 intelligence

Here you would have enough defense to not completely get destroyed in a few seconds, and also have that "plenty of health aspect" you wanted. Usually defense oriented armor give health regen items which will help you recover from fights.

For damage, either strength or dexterity would work. Strength(Earth) is for you want slow, hard hitting but constant damage on the enemy. It's good with the spell "Smoke Bomb".
Dexterity(Thunder) is kinda randomly predicted, where you could get high crits on your enemy, or do very minuscule damage. It's good with the spell "Spin Attack".
It's your choice here, but I'm going to say there's a lvl 99 legendary dagger that uses both defense(Fire) and dexterity(Thunder) as a requirement and is pretty good.

Since I know you're coming from the pregavel days when we could always spam spells, I put in a bit of intelligence(Water) for you. This will help lower spell costs and also give you options to mana regen items.

As for the walkspeed part, it's really hard to do this as walkspeed is associated to agility(Air) items, but that may take away from your "plenty of health" part as agility(Air) armor usually has lower amounts of health than defense(Fire) armor. But if you really want to take up that, I can change the skill point distribution for ya.

I really like your detailed explanations! I guess I'll just use my horse to speed around heh, this really helped me understand what each thing was going to do for me c: I think I'll stick to the builds you have provided me!
