So, i am an lvl 82 archer, but my stuff is very outdated (i have the ex-endgame set). I wanted to know what would be the best things (armor/weapon) to have at my lvl , considering my class (if you can even do that).

    Thanks to y'all!

It really depends on what build you want to make, or what element(s) you want to use. If you need something decent for a helmet and boots use the adorei secret II stuff that you get by
giving the boots to the npc that needs them or lost the, or whatever. Don't give it to the guy that will pay you for them. This is at the end of part I. This will give you the armor at the end of part II.

For level 81, the legendary bow closest to the level is Spiritshock, so you could make a thunder build around that.

It's not so important to go for a thunder build this early as most things are unavailable now. Keep your Stalagmites since it has some crazy thunder dmg. Other than that, just try to do the quest ??? and get the cosmic set. The xp bonus there will help you grind to lv90+ up to 101.

I've gotten my archer (1st character in Wynncraft) to lvl 81.

I started out staying elementally neutral and collecting Morph-Set armor and accessories due to the fairly even bonuses. As I've played, I found that I like speed, spell heavy combat and high rate of fire bows. These have lead to me pumping skill points into Agility, Dexterity and Intelligence. These three skills tend to push me toward Thunder/Water/Air builds.

At our level, you get 6 items worth of bonuses plus set bonus, then you add a ring, helmet and weapon to tailor everything to your preferred style. The combined bonuses provided by all the Morph Set items that we can use at our level are listed out below:
    upload_2016-11-22_11-45-2.png
The "stats" line is the range of skill bonuses you get to EACH skill. Fill in your skill points as needed to let you use the Bow, Ring and Helm you desire and then pump the left over points into your favored element(s). For me that's around 25-30 points per skill plus the distributed 160pts from leveling. There isn't much You can't use due to minimum skill requirements.

The Morph set lacks Regen abilities so most of my other gear includes some way to enhance my health and mana replenishment capabilities. I'm testing out different bows and powder effects right now, and focusing on rings and helms with speed and regen abilities.

    Effective Bows Tested So far:
-Maelstrom - With no powders this bow does nice damage with a high RoF and hits Thunder, Water and Air elemental damage. All the bonuses go toward speed and killing power so you need to offset that by focusing your ring and helm toward Regen or Steal for health and mana.

-Clairvoyance - A Neutral and Water damage bow with similarly high Rof + 2 T6 Thunder Powders gives it the chain lightening ability but a slight reduction in total damage output compared to the Maelstrom. It's turning out to be a nice spell bow with it's bonuses and still able to do some crowd thinning when the mana runs low. With a good ID, your mana steal on this bow will make those times blessedly short.

-Spiritshock - This one is a Thunder focused Bow. A normal speed bow, it isn't quite as forgiving if your aim is as bad as mine, but fast enough not to hurt my style. The life and mana stealing abilities as well as the poison make this bow very offensive and more focused on basic attacks, but the raw spell bonus is pretty nice. I haven't decided if I'll add air or water powders to this puppy, but it's getting one of them as soon as my sticky fingers can get them. I think I have a T6 for each so its a bit of a race to see which element turns up more often in drops and chests.

All this probably didn't answer your question, but this is what I've been able to scrounge up with my meager resources.

Maelstrom is a very good bow for its level, and even is used sometimes from levels 80-90 even. Try using that?

Well, it could be depending on what you want to do. It's a slow bow which limits my enthusiasm. It give bonuses to all 5 skills and more minor bonuses to damage, looting and XP. So it wouldn't add anything the armor doesn't already give. The damage is like any slow bow, slightly higher than faster bows, but it's all neutral. You get three powder slots that could let you add 15-120 Thunder + the usual 28% conversion from neutral and the chain lightening special. So it could be quite formidable. The Maelstrom is more focused toward damage plus speed boost. And gives you three elements already plus one powder slots. So maybe it's a little more versatile?

I have yet to round up enough folks to help me do the quests to test Bob's bow out, but I figure any bow that does what you want and you can get your hands on is good enough for me.

I hate it when people say this. Bob's mythics are good for level 75, their intended level. Of course they don't hold up farther into the game, they aren't supposed to.

It has potential. Take other items that improve the weapon speed and add more damage and a special through powders and I would happily add it to my armory.

The weapon speed thing is just a personal preference for me. I miss half the time so rapid fire is the only way to go. :-)

It is bad compared to Maelstrom, which is under its level, which is why you should use Maelstrom instead.

The Maelstrom is a very good bow, but it's a finished work. You can bump up the damage with a powder. But there's no where else to go. It is what it is out of the box. If it fits your needs, you're done.

Bob's mythic is meant to be upgraded with powders and otherwise provides solid neutral damage and some unfocused across the board bonuses. It's generic, customizable and versatile but it's not going to be super good at any one thing.

Each bow will be modified by the rest of the bonuses in their kit too. So looking at the bows basic stats, yeah the Maelstrom is a superior bow if you were to pick them both up out of a loot chest. But once you powder up and build your kit around the bow and style desired, the value of each bow may shift on you.

As I mentioned before Bob's bow already has a black mark due to its speed. But with the powder options and other speed boosting gear it I could make it work.

But I have to admit, it's a maelstrom that I keep as a back up bow in my own inventory.

yup it's good at endgame as well as lvl 70 so it's obviously a helmet slot you won't need to change out.
