Orange Wybel - Instant Killers

Before I continue, I'd like to say that this isn't a "Omg it's too op, plis nerf" thread. Orange Wybel is a endgame boss altar and thus should be very challenging. This thread is just to ask the following question:

As an assassin (LV 100) who has done Orange Wybel about 8 times now, I have died 3 times out of those 8. Thing is, the times I died, I was 1 shotted from 15,700 health and with 100+ defense due to potion. After taking a look at this thread

I can't seem to wrap my head around which enemy could possibly instant kill me with that amount of dmg... so here are my questions:

1) Which enemy is doing that?
2) How can I avoid that enemy (aka what are the precautions I have to try and take)?

 

disintegrator core(or smthin like this)
use def pots from ahmsord and they will barely deal dmg to u

 

The disintegrator cores self-destruct and can one hit you if they get a high damage roll. Try not to get near them more than you have to. You can also get killed really quickly if the Orange Wybel catches you and hits you repeatedly.

 

The dis-...something cores do 50% of your health of damage. This means if they can hit you twice in a quick succession it looks like an insta-kill. Only way to avoid them is to avoid them :) they are pretty slow moving and also do melee damage only so you shouldn't have a problem avoiding them.

 

Thanks for all your replies guys, I went in Orange Wybel to do some close analysis on the various damage received from these mobs.

Like what all of you have said, I have to simply avoid those disintegrator cores, as they can potentially one shot me if they do hit a high value on their damage. I also realised that I should also kill those disintegrators and not leave them on the battlefield, as I have found out when a certain amount of time has passed, they quickly fly towards you and hover around you till they self-destruct, which can potentially deal some serious dmg.

The Orange Wybel's charge may be a cause for instant death, though more unlikely in my personal opinion.

The rowdy wybels can be a nuisance, especially when those cores keep pulling you around, which makes the whole challenge of not stepping on a golden pressure plate a lot harder. Thankfully, due to some bug, sometimes the golden plates don't work.
