What Grinding Has Turned Into

I find it weird that people used to tell people to fuck off from their grinding spot before, but now these people are encouraging people to grind with them --"

 

People are only buying the ranks and dap bombs so much now because that think it will be nerfed soon. If owners said they're not going to remove op totem grinding or left it for a couple of months the purchase rate would go back to normal.

 

because if only there was 3-5 mobs that I can kill with a spell or two, I will kill it. Since everything there spawns in 1-2 I'd rather stay in the middle and heal everyone whilst getting xp.

I support group grinding. Everyone benefits from it! The players get faster xp... the game team gets more revenue from dxp and rank purchases so that they can maintain their servers... basically everyone is happy.

As for me, personally before the introduction of totems, I was always welcoming to those who came to my grind spot. I'd simply ask them to join my party to reduce competition and frustration over killing mobs. I wasn't really worried about people coming over, I was only worried about going to an occupied grind spot, can't tell you how many times I've been told to "fuck off" (I won't name call here). Now, at the very least, there will be a reduction in such people, and I'm happy for that

Don't know about you guys, but my grinding experience was someone getting triggered when I hit level 85 amirite

I met a guy at frozen heights, he asked me to screw off (he had his own personal mob totem there, I went there as thats my regular grinding spot), I stayed, I got 4 legends from that 15 mins. TAKE THAT B*TCH!

 

Well, ever since the totems came out, I have encountered people who made a party for everyone inside Freezing Heights and then used mob totems within the group to enhance mob spawns. I haven't encountered a person who is rude and rather hog the totem to themselves. To be honest, that's kind of stupid, especially since all kills are shared in the totem and they would receive the same experience from the other player's kills.

There probably are still territorial people out there, but the amount has heavily decreased since DXP bombs and totems came into play. If you find a territorial person, just switch to a busier server (typically the ones that have a bit of lag on them have DXP) and you will eventually find a group grinding together.

 

While I think the grinding is way better now than before it is honestly too op, now I'm not saying that it should be nerfed so that people rather grind alone it should be nerfed so people wont get from lv. 99 to 100 during 1 dxp bomb. It is good that its not as bad as before but now its just too easy to level up.

I remember before they made party + totem bannable before they nerfed it.
I got from 97.5 to 100 in 45 minutes

 

Only problem with this is that really low level people go and screw up the exp yeild and just make us grind for them...

 

Still though, the rarity of a full party is fairly slim, unless it is a party announced through a shout. Typically, those shouted parties become full fast, and then the lower level players can be seen as "leeching" off of the party xp.

It's still better than being rude and territorial towards them, giving yourself a bad reputation. For all you know, the low level player will die because a mob will get to him/her.
