The Shadow Of The Beast

I'm on the quest Shadow Of The Beast, and I'm in that cave with all the different coloured Ancient Guardians. There's a 3x3 square of different coloured wool (In order from top to bottom left to right) Light Blue, Brown, Cactus Green, White, Yellow, Dark Blue, Pink, Red, Black, and they all have buttons on them. There's a sign above this saying, "The guardians may help you in your quest..." There's a door type thing to the right of that. All the Guardians have the same colours as the square, and I've killed a bunch but I've only ever gotten Pink, Yellow, Light blue, and Cactus Green wool from them. I have no idea where to go from here.

 

I believe they have numbers on the name. you click the wool that number of times. theres also an order i believe idk i just asked for help one day.

 

The guardians drop a set amount of wool. That's your clue to finding the code.

 

@Ezohn is kind of right. if you look at the names of the different colored wool blocks they have numbers if you got all colors click the wools at the 3x3 thing in the order of the numbers.

 

A better way to put this is that a certain guardian drops a certain amount of colored wool. There are four guardians that drop either 1, 2, 3, or 4 wool blocks. "1, 2, 3, 4" refers to the order of the code. The code consists of colors, so the guardian that dropped one wool would be that color as "1" and so on.

Of course, for all I know the original poster already solved the puzzle.
