I speak Spanish, but it's terrible.

 

English is the only language which I speak, I sometimes speak in Filipino and somewhat understand it

I would like to know where you guys got your resources for learning the languages, as I
find it very difficult to get the stuff needed (I don't get language classes in my school).

Hebrew is my mother language and I lived two years in the states plus we have to learn English here so that's how I came to know English.
my family has a german/polish descent so that's why I understand some german, polish and iidish.
I also have a knack for languages (latin and germaan based that is) so I find it easy to understand others.

I'm a native German speaker, and English is a mandatory school subject in Germany. I also learned a bit of Spanish in school, and also Latin and Ancient Greek (but just translating of course, not speaking). A few years ago I took a look at Esperanto, there are a few online Esperanto courses out there. Then last year I took on Swedish on duolingo, which is an amazing free language learning website. You should check it out!

 

the majority of Israel's population came from other countries, Hebrew itself is a rejuvenated language, we used it as a holy language for 2000 years. also most jews spoke 2 languages or more.
