Favorite Dungeon

As many of you know, the Gameplay Update revamped all dungeons. Which is your favorite?

 

I like my dungeon
(It's secret shhh)

But out of the gameplay ones....
Prob's undergrowth ruins

Least favourite is sand swept tomb

I'd have to say the Undergrowth Ruins are my favourite. I'm a sucker for slime block parkour, what can I say?

 

Most favorite is probably Lost Sanctuary, easiest to speedrun, and very fast, compared to Galleons Graveyard, with its hellish waiting for the cannons to respawn, and glitchy parkour, it's my least favorite

 

Underworld crypt by a long shot. Although it's low-leveled, the boat ride with mobs attacking you from all angles is very fun. And the boss fight is very unique, and I hope that we get more content like it in the future.

 

My favorite dungeon is the Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard.

 

Currently Undergrowth Ruins, I'll try the zombie dungeon though...

First

 

my fav is undergrowth ruins
it's just so speedrunnable
but least favorite is either Ice Barrows or Underworld Crypt
because both of those are monumental annoyances
with Ice Barrows I dropped my Hashr Claw into the hopper because whoever made the dungeon thought it would be nice to put slowish immortal mobs that are a constant and unending annoyance especially when you rebinded drop to scroll lock and you have to toss everything in
and Underworld crypt the boss battle is just the worst
nobody can get to charon at all and the dungeon is non-soloable because of the ARMY of hostile mobs vs a few mercenaries you can make every 10 seconds or so

 

I liked it too, then a gm decided to stick a slime mini boss there

 

Like with the others, I prefer the Undergrowth Ruins dungeon. It's easy to get through, features the unique slime parkour, and wasn't a complete annoyance. It's also one of the few dungeons that doesn't lag horribly for me, making it easier to get through than others.

I'd say Sand-Swept Dungeon is my second favorite since it's quick but features a lot of fighting challenges (such as the arena). It's not as enjoyable as the Undergrowth Ruins, but still pretty fun.

I personally hate the Ice Barrows dungeon, because let me put it this way: I gave up doing it, and I don't give up often. The first part was annoying, because whose idea was it to create fast invincible mobs in a tight, mob filled room? You can't evade them, you can't kill them, so what are you supposed to do? Shove them in a wall with War Scream?

And then the parkour. Let's combine lag and ice parkour together. I know this is my computer's fault, but when you can't sprint because lag negates your double tap, it makes gaining momentum on ice nearly impossible. In short, I never finished the dungeon, and I threw out the other 8 keys I had collected beforehand.

I like Galleon's Graveyard because I'm a sucker for pirates.

 

I like all of them, but Galleon's graveyard steals my heart because of its unique parkouring rooms (using whirlpools and moving platforms) and special combat system where brawls don't truly matter (step on pressure plates).

The worst (in my opinion) is the Ice Barrows dungeon. Certain rooms are very laggy (particularly the last combat room), extremely difficult for a person around lvl 45 to complete it, difficult frustrating parkour, and tough hitting enemies. I know dungeons are supposed to act as a challenge, but Ice barrows is simply too long of a dungeon and it is just, to put it simply, too hard. It just makes the whole experience bland. But hey, just my 2 cents. ;)

 

I'd say when dungeons were just walk-in, it'd be the skeleton dungeon. When dungeons required keys and had mini-dungeons, it's certainly be the Jungle Dungeon. Now, I'd say my favourite is the Zombie Dungeon. Mainly due to the fact that I feel it's been transformed enough that the fact that they didn't actually make a new dungeon per se, more just rebuild the insides of the old ones, is hardly noticeable.

 

I personally like The Mortal Mountain for mostly. But, if I make the dungeon which did not come out for exception, I would like Undergrowth ruins. You could get T4 powders from it.(Although you need to complete it several times.)

Like the most players, I hate the Ice Barrows dungeon. It is so laggy(The last combat room, and boss room.). And it was extremely difficult completing it using my level 40-50 Assassin.(Because of those LAGS.)

Use ctrl or a sprint key to sprint, you don't need to double tap
(Default sprint key is ctrl)

 

I didn't realize that there was an assigned key to sprint. Probably next time I should do that if I have trouble sprinting.

Still though, the lag and the difficulty of ice parkour doesn't make the dungeon enjoyable. I'd just wait a few levels for the Undergrowth Ruins dungeon since that one is more tolerable.
