What's Your Favorite Minecraft Version? (all Versions)

1.7.10 as it has the largest modding scene. I realize that may change soon with many mods switching to 1.10 now but hey, I can't live without my thermal expansion and Thaumcraft both of which aren't updated

 

ROFL! Do you even read m8? I said it can be taken care of with commands and plugins. Commands as in SINGLE PLAYER GENIUS!

But, since you must be too dumb to figure it out, here's a command to give you a diamond helmet that boosts your attack speed: /give @p minecraft:diamond_helmet 1 0 {AttributeModifiers:[{AttributeName:"generic.attackSpeed",Name:"generic.attackSpeed",Amount:100,Operation:0,UUIDLeast:402417,UUIDMost:483204}]}

You can replace the diamond helmet part with any helmet, or any piece of armor. Wear it, and you'll never worry about attack speed again. ....Well, until the helmet breaks :p

idc about official release 1.8/1.9 flame war, but my favorite version was b1.5_01 since that was the last version that I had such a grand scale world (in part to the old minecart boosters), then next update killed my survival world by the removal of the extreme velocities

 

I voted 1.10, but 1.4 is the most memorable for me.

 

I can't really choose one because I most like the versions which can have many mods. I should vote for 1.7.10 or 1.6.4.

 

1.11 definitely

1.7 all tah way (and no its not nostalgia I started in 1.4)

 

1.8, it's the version that is compatible with a lot of my favorite mods, and it doesn't have the new fighting system.
