How Long Random Memories Can Last...

OK, guys, so, say, what do you remember about two years ago?
Or, more specifically, to some of you, what do you remember about you playing Wynncraft two years ago as a random lvl10-ish newbie?
The answer I'd expect is "not much". Maybe just grinding out of Ragni, maybe getting lost in Nivla Forest, maybe daring a little bit more and venture into Detlas, nothing more specific.
And you'd most probably not remember some random adventurer you met on the way.

Well, at least that's what I'd think. I was proven wrong just then.


I was trying to come up with a proper build in Detlas. And oh yeah, I just got my first lvl 100. And all seems normal until someone suddenly msg-ed me something like "Ohhhhh holy crap, Yuu is that you?"
So I replied, "Hmm, yes?"
"Is your former ID LittleYuu?"
This gets me intrigued. It has been a long time since I last heard that ID. "Yes... but you are?" As I said.
"I remember you! It's been so long, I thought you had leaved!"
"..."
"Well, it's two years already. But how could I forget? I met you in Nivla Forest, you're like the first friend I met on Wynncraft!"

O. K. Man, OK. I think you can imagine how I feel back then. I certain don't remember those things back then, but somehow, this guy do, and he just found me like that, despite having a probably drastically different ID.
I did thought about the possibilities of a random guy just approaching me and trying to get advantages on me. But despite my former ID, the pretty distance but true join time (I did play 2 years ago, but I don't think that is reflected on my profile so...), he also looked at my bow and like "Hmm, weren't you a mage back then?"
Yes. I started on a mage. That mage is now lvl93, and will soon also get 100 after my Archer right here.

And the most thing that kind of moved me is his... well I don't even know how to describe that.
Looked at his account. Lvl 49 Archer. Looked at my Infinity. Well, good deal for both of us.
"Do you need an Infinity?" I asked.
"Sure, why not? What's the price?"
"How many LE you got?" Make sure he can afford my stuff here.
"Four." Well, not much, but enough.
"Hmm... these usually go for 1le, so I might just sell them for 1le. I really need to save up another 8 stacks now." I replied.
"Deal!" He certainly did not hesitate.
But he did hesitate when I put my Infinity in the trading box. I pressed the tick, he pressed too, I pressed again, and there's just this awkward silence between us.
He quits the trading."You know what, you can just have it. Think I don't need Infinity right now."
And with that he trades me again, put the LE in the box, pressed tick on his side.

I, a lvl 100 Archer, somehow renowned businessman, was just sponsored 1LE on my eight stacks journey to a Stratiformis, by a lvl 49 with a poor total savings of four LEs.
And I refused him. He in the end did not take that Infinity.


Well, I guess friendship lasts just a bit longer than I thought it would.

 

I love it when stuff like this happens to me

 

When I started playing 3 years ago I met 2 people at the entrance of the Nivla Forest, whom I played with for a day and became friends.

One of them is still here while the other quit after a while. Just a few months ago I ran into her somewhere in Nivla and immediately recognised the name. I typed in the chat "Hey" and "do you remember me?"

I thought she would also remember me by recognising my name but no

She replied "fuck off" and ran away

Good old times

 

The most painful thing is to see your friends drift off and become inactive until you are the only one left of the original gang. new people come and go but it seems like you are immortal, you have to witness everything including the goodbyes.

 

I play alone most of the time, without IRL friends or dudes i meet on the server. Don't get me wrong, I do have friends on the server, I just play secluted and out of the way unless I need to sell or buy something (usually other T4 powders for T4 blues).

I tried getting a classmate to play (who freaked out when I said it's an MMORPG server in minecraft) but I can't see their avatar in game for some reason. They didn't play again as far as I know...

But anyway, first few people I met was years ago near the zombies that spawn near the Nivla forest. I died at 2 sp and they took my stuff and left....

I just realized how much of a Forever Aloner I am...oh well, at least I socialize when it comes to killing Qira.

 

I know that feeling, I might have to trash my friends only guild because none of them are active anymore... really is painful... none of them ever passed level 60...

 

I started playing 3 years ago, 2 years ago I was level 54, today I'm level 90, I only use one class, I'm the best player around !

 

i joined around 2 years ago and i remember on the fist day that when my archer(first class) was level 7 and i found someone called archerypro3 and we tried killing the lvl 17 zombies nearby the nivla forest. i never saw her online again. but we had fun despite it being maybe half an hour where we just run around and tried killing the zombies as a lvl 7 archer and a lvl 9 mage

 

I remember when the hub had portals and archer didnt have the glide down to leap. Good times.

i remember when assassin bcame a not vip-only class and i instantly started playing like a scrub

i remember when dungeons were great and werent crap,new ones (gameplay update) are good,and the first ones where awesome,but mob update ones made me quit very long :P

even if they come back I'm not rejoining that guild
it drained all my LE and was the worst choice I ever made

Rip the guild I started
I made the guild called East Gavel Elite and then left to join UXs but left one major problem
the chief I elected to be owner is now inactive and really wasn't a good choice for owner after they attacked Troms and took it from UXs

 

I remember giving @Aeon Soralen my meridian when he lost all his soul points on his Level 28 archer three years ago. He's the reason I decided to join the forums ^-^
