Fallback Problem.

I've been getting this message every time I've tried logging into Wynncraft for the past 2 hours.

Hi, please don't use the node IP, it would be better for you to use the regular one.
As for the fallback issue you can solve this by trying to log in multiple times or even relaunching MC.

 

what do you mean by Node IP?

 

He means the IP addresses that connect directly to a specific server node. It can be used as a last resort if no other IPs work, but it puts unnecessary stress on the servers and if that node goes down you won't be able to log in. If you have to use it to connect, only use it once before switching back to a regular IP.

@Pretzule: I didn't realize the node prefix ips were not recommended for using. I had an issue connecting and it got to a point where changing the ip suffix (such as .net or .org) had no effect on the Java issue. I switched to the "node7" ip and so far I've had zero issues. However, if you don't want people to use that, I'll stop recommending it. It's just that some people can't connect no matter what (after changing suffixes or restarting MC), and the "node7" ip seems the most reliable to solve the problem.

Also, I feel the Halloween lobby had something to do with the fallback issue. I started receiving it after the lobby changed, and I also noticed several threads popping up after the lobby change regarding the same issue. Maybe the issue will vanish after the lobby changes back.

 

It really shouldn't be used in general.
