Question On Item Prices

Does the value of an item go up if it has a special skin? For example one of the Lunar Spines in my bank randomly got one of the new special skins, would it be worth more than a non-skinned Lunar Spine of the same stats?

I think that your lunar spine changing skin is a bug rather then a feature. Anyways no it does not add any value

 

Priced in a summary:
-Diamond dust max (45% loot) = 5-10le
-Old keeper max (29% loot) = 15-40le

Despite dia dust gives MORE loot and gives MORE health and the fact that its harder to get a higher loot dia dust, it still cost less

 

I know it's a bug. But the real questions is can I make profit from the bug since the new skins are rarer and normally cost irl money.

You are not allowed to sell glitched items. If one of your items gained a skin without you applying it, it is glitched. You do not have to throw it out, but you may not sell it.

 

@SNAFU means that the prices of items is not based on how good they are, but how rare they are

Eh, I guess I can use it later on since it semi-fits my build

 

It will probably fix itself eventually, a few of my items have done this, they went back to normal after a while. If it reverts to it's normal model you can sell it.

 

Rare and can be found from mob drops
VS
Legendary and can only be found in loot chests

Thus, Old Keeper is MUCH harder to get maxed loot and as such, is worth more
