- Nothing really inspired me to get into art. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember (albeit shittily as a kid, it's only been a year or so since I've tried to get serious with it)
- I just get a double double coffee, two creams and two sugars
- O man oh man there are too many D: here are a few! kawacy, lulles, seventypercentethanol, Virdi, megalotis, riifucat, elentori and so many others T^T
- I joined wynncraft three years ago with some IRL for a server we could play on together. I found forums roughly half a year later ^^
- My only suggestion is: use references. It's not copying or cheating in any way and it will save you muuuuch crying :'( I live off of those

When drawing, would you consider tracing (even parts of) a reference picture wrong/not actually drawing/something to be looked down upon?
Would you consider drawing without a reference better than drawing with a reference (in terms of skill and respectability)?

- that's a good question. Tracing is something of a really controversial topic. My view on it, debatable ethics aside, is that tracing is bad because it doesn't help you improve. At all. It's a complete waste of time for you. I've seen people trace, thinking that they'll magically soak up the lineart prowess of the artist with enough time (you don't). Imo if you're attempting to improve w/ tracing, okay, but just don't post your traced pieces online.

Also I think many underestimate how much a tiny compliment means to anyone who works in any of the arts (music too!) because art is not an objective thing. There's no right or wrong, so as an artist you're never really satisfied.

References are a godsend. USE REFERENCES. I can't exaggerate this enough.
You don't have to use a specific picture either. Use one for the eyes and one for the legs for the same image, whatever. I don't know what you're asking when you say "in terms of skill", but yes, you improve ;D
References are respectable and useful as heck, especially when it comes to things like anatomy. Artists may say different things about tracing but I don't think anyone would consider references shameful in any way.
