Asking Back My Items (without Refunds From Server)

No, no refunds I know. The incidence is where I was afking on Wybel Island on my Lv94 Mage about a day ago, I suspect nothing will kill me (obviously wrong because of Scared Wybels and other dragonlings), I came back this morning looking at an Oak Wood Stick and vacant inventory slots.

I lost bunch of emeralds, a 4/4 9 intel Third Eye, 4/4 24xp 195 spell Memento (it's nearly perfect), 2/4 35% spell 2 T4 water Ethereal and Royal Stormy. I talked to my friend @RotmgModdy and he told me he bought the exact same Ethereal for 10eb at Ahmsord, which is where I ended up today. He forgot the name of the guy who sold him the wand but it's certainly he whom stole the items.

If you're the person who stole it, I know you're looking for some quick money but if you're willing to return the items, I can give you some money and not report you. And for others, I'm not sure about the public donating a near perfect Memento but I can exchange a Royal Cyclone for a Royal Stormy or Token of Gratitude.

 

How can others steal your items?

If you die, any items you lost drop on the ground for anyone to take.

 

Ik, but players cant kill him. ANd it is his responsibility to log off. Also if he dies once he is in the middle of a city

 

he died, someone else took his items, he's asking for a bit of kindness. there's nothing really debatable here - mobs can and will get into cities on occasion.

 

If he's afking on Wybel Island, he should respawn in Ahmsord where I believe it's an ultra safe city because there isn't anything there that can kill you. Its a possibility he died due to someone pushing him in the void constantly.

 

Were you using 1.9 or higher?

 

if he died to the void how come someone else apparently got his wand? do the items return to the surface?

 

NEVER AFK ANYWERE!

What's the point of going AFK in wynncraft? Just log out and log back in. Not a biggie.

I'd like to comment on the situation.

What happened: In this case, krykry21 and I were attempting Wybel, but he had to go so he AFK'ed in Wybel Island. As for me, I was trying to navigate my way back to Ahmsord, but I suck at directions so I ended up getting tired of wondering in circles and left the game for awhile to help my younger sis irl stuff. I went back to the same server and decided to do /kill to save time. To my rude shock, I spawned in Ahmsord but with 2 angels of battle beating up krykry21. No one was nearby, and the golems were SOMEHOW pushed to a seperate island, leaving the spawn point vulnerable to attack. By then, Krykry21 was stripped off of all his armour and was holding a stick.

My suspicions is that someone must have found Kry afk in the wybel island, and decided to drag nearby mobs onto him. After kry died, said person must have went back to Ahmsord and dragged mobs into the city, whilst preventing the Ahmsord Guards from killing these mobs by pushing them onto another island.

The consequences: Krykry21 has lost A LOT of good gear, all of which have been stated in his original post.

Solutions we are taking at the moment: This thread is one solution, we hope the one who did this owns up, be it publicly or privately, and returns any items he stole back to Krykry21. We understand that those who die and lose items legitimately in action and combat shouldn't be refunded, such dropped items can be picked up by anyone. But this case, the person had the INTENT and the... D E T E R M I N A T I O N
to kill Kry for his items, this is what I like to call "SP grinded" and is an illegal thing to do (hence, I believe it is bannable).

Krykry21 here has learnt the lesson of not AFKing anywhere (albeit a punishing and hard one), and now does /hub or /class whenever he goes AFK. This is a very good tip to those who AFK, never do it anywhere at all, not even in a town. Seriously, u never know what might happen.

I cannot decide anything here, but I implore whoever is reading this, if you ever found someone selling such pairs of Memento, please let mister Kry know about that and the ign of whoever is selling those memento.

I also have some Memento and Third Eye that you can have though they certainly do not have that great ids.

 

Enjoy the 5000 hours cooldown on every single loot chest mate. Even switching freaking classes gives you a stupid long cooldown.

Losing items isn't the worst, I have ways to recover. However, the pure mindset of someone setting up an entire spawn trap expecting to get items from a random person is quite...intimidating. The reason I don't /hub or /class is exactly what @Gogeta said, the long cooldown and I do loot runs a lot, not in Ahmsord but I'm used to stand there especially in cities where it should've been save. Ahmsord is as dangerous as a city can get.

So I hope everyone now knows, again, that you should at least stay on high ground (ranged mobs *sigh*).

btw he didnt steal ur items, it was ur fault being afk
