My Bow Is A Wooden Slab?

So I have a bow named Harpoon and it's identified and everything, but one day I logged on and it just a wooden slab. It works but I think it's weird.

 

This is a graphical glitch, it will not affect your weapon aside from appearance. Try relogging, and if that doesn't work, try switching your Minecraft version to 1.8.9 if you're on 1.10.

 

Do you happen to know the original texture of the bow? If it's the same model as the Relic Bow or Olux's Prized Bow, then I have a solution to the glitch. The texture model was assigned improperly in the recent texture pack update, turning the bow into a slab.
