(an Iron Heart Part Ii) Dr. Urelix And His Talking

I'm not posting this in the "bugs" section because I'm not sure if this is a bug, (and I don't really want to make another account). So I'm on the last part of the "An Iron Heart Part II" Quest and I'm given the option to talk to Dr. Urelix or Detective Hart. I see that my quest book has updated so I go and read it, being about 3 blocks away from Dr. Urelix and facing away from him. I wanted to talk to Detective Hart so I can get the leggings with the awesome XP bonus, but no. I ended talking to Dr. Urelix and I got the "Shameful Greaves" (What a way to mock me). I would really like to have this fixed. If this was intentional, then please change it so you have to face him in order to talk to him. If you want a video, I can show you.

But for real though, I faced away from him too, and that's a little ridiculous that the same thing happened so many times and it still hasn't been patched.
I think a good solution would have the Dr say "Are you sure?" I know that's out of character, but it would save so much pain.

 

A lot of people, including myself, did this the first time they did this quest. It's caused because quest NPCs will detect your clicks as long as you're within about four blocks of the NPC. You can't get the greaves of honor on that class now, unfortunately. In the future, remember to stay away from quest NPCs any time you get to a choice, until you've decided what choice to make.

how and why did you click though? I mean I didn't right-click so I didn't talk to him.
