Bug Or Not? Level 44 Mage And Intelligence Is Capped At 64

So I am not sure if this is a bug or not and I can't figure out where it says what the skill caps out at but I've spend 4 points in intelligence, 2 at first without realizing, or knowing if that there was a cap, and spent another 2 points to see it was just visual bug or something.

So is there a skill cap? Is it by level or what?

 

no its capped at 100 its just cuz items on minecraft can be stacked up to 64

 

The cap is 100 from skill points added using your compass, you can go to 150 max using items that boost your skill points. They do not display past 64 due to Minecraft's mechanics but still function normally. You can see the correct number by hovering your mouse over the book and reading the item's lore.

 

Wasn't there a way to get 111 item stacks at a point like in Wizard Fortress? Or was that removed some time ago?

 

There was, I dunno that doesn't work with skill points.
