Why Did Wynncraft Items Change?

As some of you remember, a long time ago (TBH I don't remember how long ago) all items had the same IDs. At this time the market was much simpler. There were no super complicated markets and whatnot, you could just simply sell an item. There were no "good" or "bad" items, just items... What I am wondering is, why did it change. Also, do you think it should change back? Tell me in the poll, I am generally curious.

 

To make the game more interesting and add more builds.

With old items, some were bad and some were good. That's why there was endgame stuff. Now there is no endgame because every weapon or armor piece is good for certain builds. (Except depressing of course)

 

It makes the game a lot better. It adds variety and strategy to the game, it adds difficulty. Wynncraft wouldn't be a true RPG without the variety in items.

 

Yeah, I kinda wish it went back to normal.
It's really tedious to try and get the best Jester set, just as an example.
You'd either have to spend a lot of emeralds to re-identify, find another one, or just deal with it.

 

Yeah, while I like how they introduced elements and builds, items were pretty straight forward before Gavel, and that was a pretty good thing. :/

 

Because we need op builds for anything11111

 

It's much better now. Identifications like life steal and mana steal were overpowered and this system allows you to use unique-legendary for those who can't afford mythics. You don't just use the weapon that goes up in level and rarity anymore. You use the one that suits you best.
