Info Composer Application

Hello, Wynncraft community. Our old composer, Needlr, is sadly no longer composing for Wynncraft. But with coming updates, we're going to need more fantastic note block music for the game. That leads us to now. We're looking for a new composer to make some more awesome music to make the game more fun.

As a composer, you'll be expected to write music for our game via noteblock and you will need to come to us with all the knowledge of music composition, and you will need to know how to use the Note Block Studio software when making music.

When applying for the new composer position, you'll need a song that is roughly between 45 seconds and 2 and a half minutes in length. You will be REQUIRED to send us a download link to a .nbs file of the song. This must be an original track, and it must be made on your own. No teams. When you're ready to apply, send a PM to myself, @Abandonedbank, and @Tantibus for judging.

Yes. As long as you can convert it to a .nbs file, and that it's within the length requirements.

Okay, a couple questions.
Why the limit on length? A few ingame songs are way longer than 2.5 minutes, like Qira Mistress of the Hive, and Olux.
And why no teams? I work with my friends when I make music, can I not enter?
Am I allowed to enter a song I made with a friend if said friend is okay with not being credited if it wins?

 

You cant work with a friend because well, we need to know what you can make on your own.
Not with help from others

 

Quite sure the 'no team' rule is there to make things less complicated; else it cannot be guaranteed that the song provided doesn't show someone else's qualities, and in order to efficently create songs for the server you'd have to be able to work alone, as a friend/team-member would slow down the progress.

 

My friend lives in the same town as me and we hang out all the time as see each other at school every day, so I don't see the issue, but I see your point.

But why can we not work together if it doesn't slow down out progress?
