Guide The Wynncrafter's Guide To - Scrapping

Hello there! I'm eventually going to pretty this thread up, but for now I guess the common use will just be knowledge!

I'm sure in the time of crates being out we can relate to these scenarios and find ourselves thinking.. "Damn I wish I could get rid of this!"




What Is Scrapping?


Scrapping is the new process in which old rewards you don't want, have doubles of, and just about any other reason-- can be scrapped and traded up to a random reward of the next tier

How Do I Scrap?


Scrapping isn't hard at all! All you have to make sure of is having AT LEAST 5 OF THE SAME TIER REWARD TO TRADE UP.

This means you can't mix and match rare and common-- but have to settle for all commons-- or all rares

But how to do it?

1.) Open the compass menu, I assume by now everyone has figured out where our handy dandy crate button is, incase not, here's a picture.



2.) Click on your handy dandy crate menu, you should notice a yellow arrow like figure lurking on the opposite side of the create. This will take you to the next step.



3.) Once you have entered this menu, your items such as particles, pets, horse skins, and what not will be displayed here. If you hover over items you can see their rarity. Click the 5 you want to scrap and badabing-badaboom you've done it!




Tiers


Reward tiers have now just been introduced to us giving our items value. There are currently 4 tiers. Common, rare, epic, and the almighty godly tier. Here is a small guide on how to obtain each tier when scrapping


5 commons -> 1 rare
5 rares -> 1 epic
5 epics -> 1 godly


Anyways, like I said I will be making this not such an unattractive thread but for now it's just informational. Have fun scrapping!​

 

Whims, good thread, but maybe replace "Item" with "Reward" or something? Could be a bit confusing for a Beginner's Guide to ____

Some newer players coming and even myself might not know how to scrap, no need to make a comment like that.

 

I guess what he's trying to say is some of us figured it out right away.

For example I logged on opened my first crate and scrapped all in 1 min, not trying to brag btw. The point I'm trying to prove is some of us just figured it out and he probably just assumed everyone already knew. Good job on the guide though!

It wasn't obvious though. I'm an old player and I hadn't a clue where it would be. It was only a few days ago (yesterday key) where @Sohso showed me how to do it

 

You mean yesterday? It just came out yesterday.. lol

 

But the update came out yesterday...

 

That's not what I meant, clearly. I was saying how older players had more experience on where certain things would be. E.G; donator perks would be in then compass

 

Then please don't be a hypocrite and refrain from using the word clearly. As for some it was obvious and for others not.

 

Not really a flame, as no one it throwing around swears and getting crazy like that.

 

What? This is literally a guide thread made to help people, I don't see anything in this thread that can spark any sort of flame at all.

 

I have VIP+ but I can't open the daily crate because the menu is glitched, and opening the scrap menu crashes not only mc, but my entire computer.

How about them apples?!

You can't scrap Godly's at all...
