Theory: The Eye (memory Paranoia)

    Ok. I didn't know if this thread is in the right place. Or someone might've already said something about this, in some other thread, but I couldn't find any after 20 mins of search. But this is what I think.

    The Eye. People say that the Eye plays a big part in Dern, and that is confirmed by several mods. (I think, I hope)
    I think the Eye refers to someone, like the ultimate Dark Lord of Dern. I used this theory in my RPs, and they seem really realistic for me.
    • Mr. Caritat: FROM THE SOILS OF DOOM THE SERVANT LAID
    • Mr. Caritat: BREAK THROUGH THE REALMS TO THE LAND OF TRADE.
    • Mr. Caritat: CORRUPT THE WORLD WITH SEEDS OF PAIN
    • Mr. Caritat: SO THAT HE...
    • Mr. Caritat: ...MAY RISE AGAIN!
    This is from Memory Paranoia.
    The soils of doom likely refers to the Roots of Corruption. The servant may be the Corruptor of Worlds, or some other demon like Naragath from Eye of the Storm.
    Break through the realms to the land of trade. This probably means that he will break out from the realm of shadows (Dern) and travel across to Gavel (Land of Trade).
    Corrupt the world with seeds of pain. Seeds in Realm of Light. The seeds took over Orphion, the Light Beast, with that weird worm thingy. That maybe where the Eye intends to rise from. Perhaps the worm thing is the eye.

    Two lines from earlier in the quest to support my theory:
    • Mr. Caritat: HE WHO STARTED THE WAR SHALL RISE ONCE MORE. FROM THE REALM OF SHADOWS, DECEIPT AND PAIN.
    • Mr. Caritat: FOREVER TRAPPED, FROM WHENCE HE CAME. THROUGH THE WEAK POINT BETWEEN REALMS HE. WILL. RISE. AGAIN!
    Weak point between realms. Either the Roots or the weakened state of Realm of Light.

    He was trapped in Dern by some sort of power of Light. Remember we have the very powerful Fruman monarch coming out so....
    @SPYROHAWK told me that Ragnar wasn't really confirmed hero yet, but Ragnar might be the one who trapped the Eye, and the Eye might be the Bak'al guy from Gavel Teaser.

    Or the Eye is a cult of some sort that worship the Dark Lord of Dern.

    I might've missed some important detail, I'm only level 79 IG after all.

    You don't think this is Wynn? Because Gavel is light, Dern is darkness and Wynncraft is inbetween, thus creating corruption and unstable-ness.

    True... but specifically in the Roots right? It's not like he'll pop up in middle of Ragni...
    I also think he already got out of his confinement in Dern, if I think i understood the dialogue in Memory Paranoia

    Could this be a reason why the ppl in grave mistake are worshipping this eye-monster? After all the graveyard is close to dern

    I saw this and have been wrestling with it a bit. Definitely talking about the Eye and Dern. Weak points could be a portal perhaps? Or better yet, the Decay!

    Hey, thats actually not bad! The Decay is a dark force in Gavel (the land of trade) where the decay is a dark plague created by sin, and greed. sin and greed are both "dark" traits. Could it be a weak point between the realms? Also yes about the seeds.

    Also, Ragnar did not lock away the eye. Bob did.

    The "weak point" Mr. Caritat could also be the place where the worm thing emerged in the first place (aka. the site the mansion was built on).

    Wait now! Did not both the light and darkness create the corruption due to both spread to increase their might and then met and corrupted wynn( this might also mean that orphion got locked away at the same Time as the eye was trapped, other wise the other would take over)?
