Good point. These are My thoughts on servers problems. Wynn got lag, mineplex got their community and hypixel got to many games (like 30% of their games have under 100 people online when i play. Skywars has like 12000).

 

I play on a small creative server (around 50 people online at once) and it has a great community...

And I play on mineplex a ton, and have even entered a couple super smash mobs tournaments, does this make me a mineplexian? What's so bad about people who play on mineplex?

 

Same, i even donated to Hypixel and got their highest purchasable rank during sales and got the first donor rank there, really wish i can get that money back for this server.

Anyway, I glad that we arn't total crap, only down periods that go back up eventually, and how we can be somewhat mature compared to other servers.

Lets hope we can keep it this way for as long as we can, for the server's reputation of not being for the youngest of Minecrafters.

Its alright, most kids get annoyed and quit by the time they can't /tpa, or if that doesn't deter them, the grinding at level 30 will

It's not about the individual that plays Mineplex, but the loud and irresponsible members of the community who, sadly, get to the point of being the face outwards of that community.

Many people like to score hits on Mineplex, and the community (inoffical, yet official representatives) is both a weak and easy to hit spot. I am sure you've seen people talk ill of it before.

 

My one problem with the community is the separation between non-VIPs and VIPs. I mean, Wynncraft needs money, and the EULA doesn't allow it, so there's almost no viable solutions... its still something that bugs me. I'm not dissing micro-transactions or anything (Wynn does them very, very well), its just one of those reminders 'Hey I don't have 40 dollars to spare.' Just my opinion, don't hurt me.
Someday I'll get VIP or something, a few shouts, and have some fun. I'm overdue on payment for this amazing free game :P

 

I feel like the separation is really caused by people thinking they're superior because they've paid and it's something that is inevitable for some people the only thing that we can really do is treat people equally.

 

Yeah. It's really an issue with any game with microtransactions. Really unfortunate. Thanks for understanding my point though!

 

As Pretz said, the thought is probably coming from people who feel superior after donating. However, as Mojang intended with their very strict EULA, there is actually no real gap, as I see it, between donators and "non-donators". You might also feel that way because of the recent update focusing on updating the store, seeing how many (cool and awesome ;D ) aesthetics the donators got. But in the end, we are all playing the same game, by the same rules and with the same people. And that's a good thing.
