Any Tips For A New Player?

Just found this server today from Grian and loved it. Any tips?

 

dont go into areas with high level mobs

 

don't accept many trade offers
use the price check thread to verify the cost being appropriate

 

don't play assassin. it's by far the hardest class and it takes knowledge of the game.

 

"new player" assassin has a level min cap if I recall

 

1. Don't think this is a kid friendly server just bc Grian owns it.
2. Don't ask for free items, people will get very annoyed

I think that no matter where you go people would be annoyed if people asked for free stuff

If you plan on afk in a city to get soul points, make sure to be in an extremely safe place, where you're 101% sure you won't die. The top of detlas bank for example.
Try to get gear of your level.
Be sure to use your powders on your items to make them stronger
Remember that you can reset your skill points for 2 soul points, you can change your build at any time.

and make sure to always add a poll when you post a suggestion

 

Hmm...
Usually you should grind with mobs that are a bit higher leveled than you, not too much, maybe like 1 - 3 levels or so.
Also, you should probably have exp/grinding armor and accessories that you put on when grinding, different from your regular armor.

That could easily be the best tip on this page.

 

aaaand you went assassin.
just... use intellegence. and agility. lots, and lots.

 

Dont get yourself into the player market unless you want to get scammed.

Pray to god Wynncraft wont slaughter your PC

If you get stuck, use a scroll if you have one. If not, then maybe use /class or /server and if nothing else works. /kill

Dont use /kill if youre low on SP, you'll lose a bunch of stuff.

Mage or Archer is a decent starter class, Warrior works as well. Just dont use Assassin.

 

I'm going on my second month and loving this game. I picked Archer due to my ranged combat preference and it turned out to be the perfect option for me. Lots of damage from range and the ability to hop to places mobs and other player classes can't reach to dish out that ranged hurt is awesome.

My Main bit of advice:
Be very careful around hoppers... I've accidentaly tossed two very good legendary bows into hoppers and accidentally tossed my olix bow into the water below a dungeon parkor area that instantly telleports you back to the beginning of the parkor so you can't swim down to get it back. The Olix bow was painful as you can only get one per character from a quest.
