I found this comment on a youtube video, and that's pretty damn true.
If you played Minecraft for a long time, listening to its music will hit you right in the heart and you're gonna be flooded with memories. The friends you made, the servers you played, the friends you didn't kept contact with...
But, really, no game ost ever made me feel that way, Minecraft is really weird. For example, you just have to listen to this :
It's... really weird. I don't know if I'm the only one around here who feels that way, but this game ost is really incredible. Too bad a lot of people simply turn their music off.

    Bonus:
    FEEEEEEELS

Thanks for reading this, and I hope I'm not the only one on the forums who feel that way.

It's because the music got permanently burned into our brains when Minecraft was a new thing and we spent hours mining stone while listening to it.

I don't even play with music turned on but the Minecraft tracks are always nostalgic for me.
I don't know, maybe it's how simple the music are that reminds me of how back in 2011-12 the game itself was also simple. It's like seeing those old screenshots of Minecraft Classic servers from 2009.

Listening to it just reminds me of the noob I used to be years ago when I was still learning and I had no idea what I was doing... good times. My personal favorite is Clark.

Wait hold on when the fuck did Minecraft music (in the thread) has been added.

Also I think what makes Minecraft music so nostalgic is the fact that we wasted 2 years of out lives

Now that I think about, yeah, Minecraft music has extreme nostalgia powers, which is weird, because just like games that don't make me feel the same way, I can go back and re-live 1.3.

I think the reason it's so nostalgic is because you would actually listen to the music and it seems to engulf you in a way due to the gameplay not pushing you around and leaving you to do your own thing instead of forcing you into action and the music just being filler in the background, like a lot of games today. I get similar feelings of nostalgia when listening to the Demon's Souls and SotC OSTs as there was quite lot of down time with music playing in the Nexus, cutscenes, travelling between Colossi etc. where you could actually stop and listen to it and the way everything was so ambiguous about the stories etc. just let your mind wonder while listening to it

    Also,

Right, time to buy a new ps3
