So, most of us already know that the compass is unreliable, but this is no question about that.

For as far as I'm aware (correct me if I'm wrong.) your amount of elemental defense = raw elemental defense + raw elemental defense x percentual elemental defense.
(200 raw water defense and +25% water defense = 250 water defense.)

(2oo raw water defense and -25% water defense = 150 water defense)

    But how about other negatives?

With -200 water defense and +25% water defense does that make (-200 water defense (+ 25% of -200 water defense =) -50 water defense) -250 water defense?

    or:
-200 water defense and -25% water defense, does this combination give me -150 water defense?

and for a lil' more of an ingame example:
the gambler + pandemonium + warchief
(use http://wynnapps.tk/item/ to find those items if you don't know 'em.)

Let's say this'll result in -80 elemental defense and -150% elemental defense in each element.

    would you than get -80 + -80 x -1.5 = -80 + 120 = 40 elemental defense in each element?

    I await answers.
    @hppeng
I made a "glass cactus" build my using gravity and gamlers, so can confirm that -%defense can make drive defenses negative. However, when I tried using leo/Scorpio and gamblers with >100% -water, it didn' t seem to have an effect on my defenses. Seems to not work for -raw def, but needs more testing.

    -------------

thanks alot for that! It not working on -raw defense is definately something I'm gonna be thinking about when making builds.

    A much shorter question now:
When the sprint bar has run out, it switches over to your mana bar and will 'quickly' decrease it.
How fast it will do so is decided by the amount of mana regen you have, so that people with high mana regen won't be able to cheat the system. (correct me if I'm wrong)

So, if you were to have let's say:
    • Slots: 1
    • Health: +1000
    • Lv. Min : 59
    • Mana Regen: -6/4s to -11/4s
    • Spell Damage: +4% to +15%
    • Melee Damage: -6% to -11%
    • Mana Steal: +3/4s to +11/4s
    • Spell Damage: +15 to + 65

Or any item combination that gives you negative mana regen, would sprinting than give you mana, or at least not take any away? Meaning that you could basically sprint forever.(If so, recharge new meta for speed and mana build.)

I guess that you'd want it to be toggleable for a build, so
    • Slots: 3
    • Damage: 50-70
    • ✹ Fire Damage: 50-90
    • ✦ Thunder Damage: 30-110
    • Attack Speed: Super Fast
    • Lv. Min : 99
    • Dexterity Min: 35
    • Defense Min: 35
    • Mana Regen: -2/4s to -4/4s
    • Spell Damage: +8% to +33%
    • Mana Steal: +2/4s to +6/4s
    • Dexterity: +4 to +15
    • Defense: +4 to +15
    • Soul Point Regen: -17% to -32%
    • ✹ Fire Damage: +6% to +26%
    • ❉ Water Damage: -14% to -26%
    • ✦ Thunder Damage: +6% to +26%
    • ❉ Water Defense: -17 to -32
    • ❋ Air Defense: -17 to -32
    • ✤ Earth Defense: -17 to -32
would be a great option. instead of recharge. Thinking about it, if sprinting were to give mana like that, vanish op af.

pls tell me I've been looking for too long.

A lovely amulet to buy in Aldorei town, what do I need to buy it? If it's not just emeralds. (I could just go and check it, but I'm too lazy. <3)
ANSWERED: 25 magical feathers; dropped by pheonixes and harpies nearby.

I've heard that it doesn't throw poison back, is that true? and are there any other things I need to watch out for when making a poison build?

Does it count like neutral damage? Or is it it's own kind of damage, with different (weird) rules?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
new questions: (even though the ones above aren't all answered yet.

So, as we all know, putting 100 points into dexterity will make a weapon that deals thunder damage deal 'more' thunder damage.

But by how much will it increase? is it a multiplier? is it raw damage? how does it work with spells? how does it interect with +26% thunder damage? etc. etc. etc.

So, as we all (should) know, putting 100 points into intel will make any weapon heal you more than if you had 0 points into intel.

But by how much will it increase? Is it a multiplier? Is it raw extra hp? How does it work with spells? How does it interect with +26% water damage? etc. etc. etc.

We also know that the amount of hp you have left is an important dictator to the heal.
    BUT HOW???? IWANTMEMYSELFSOMEMATH

That should be enough for now.

(ps: for the poll: With secondary skill I mean as in like, let's say you already chose one main element and ALL of your equipment is about that element as well. So all your other skill points are only gonna give you the boost that the skill points themselves give you. and only 1 secondary element.)

Poison adds all the total poison stats up over all your gear, and then spreads it out over 3 seconds.
For example: if you have a 500 poison helmet and a 400 poison chestplate, you get 900 poison in total. When you hit something, it does 300 poison damage every second for 3 seconds.
As far as I am aware, poison is not affected by damage multipliers.

When you have an empty sprint bar, your mana is used faster the more mana regen you have. Negative mana regen would not give you mana, only take it away more slowly. I'm pretty sure this is right, someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Well, it shows up as neutral dmg, but neutral damage isn't effected by damage multipliers (I've actually tested that, with strength). Whilst neutral damage is. Meaning that it works different from normal neutral damage, perhaps it works the same way as raw spell damage, meaning that it'd pierce through the defense skill. I've also heard somewhere that agility can't activate for poison damage, which'd be worth checking.

(I knew that far about poison, but still thanks for being helpful.)
    slower

That's what I thought at first as well, but knowing computers. The amount of mana that gets taken away is decided by a mathematical equation. I'm guessing that said equation once your out of sprint =
(-4 + -1 x amount of mana regen) / time it will take away mana.
(I just think that, because when I have 8 mana regen, I run out of mana in 2 periods of time in which it takes mana away. And on my assassin, with no mana regen, I can see that it takes 4.)

But, what you're saying, would make a lot more sense and be better balanced. It's also what I thought. Before this idea of infinite sprinting came to my mind. (The other one just involves some bad mana regen and gr8 mana steal.)

    (god I want a

to test this so bad. ;_; )
