Quest Mob Not Spawning - Trapped In Room

Im currently doing the Realm of Light quest and after entering the portal the Devouer of Light failed to spawn. I have tried relogging, going to different servers, and refreshing with /class. How do i solve this issue? and yes i am making sure to wear the helmet for this quest.

 

um, /kill? idk maybe there's some dialogue you need to activate right before you go into the portal (yes ik it's a pain)

 

As far as I know, the Devourer of Light starts out as a sliverfish, and then spawns into the wither. You may be disregarding this and "passing by" the boss on accident.

If that's not the case, make sure you are on that part of the quest. Make sure to go through the catacomb thoroughly. If all else fails, /kill or switch servers to try and create a spawn.

 

Since posting i have looked up youtube videos of the quest, he instantly spawns once you enter the room and there is only a single platform for him to spawn on so there is no way of missing him. Also i want to avoid leaving with/kill because then ill have to backtrack quite a bit through parasite spiders that straight drink my health like cool-aid. Hopefully by leaving for a while and coming back it should fix the problem, we'll see.

yep it worked just had to give it some time, also for some reason now it spawned as a spider. I was only getting 3 corrupted Heliolux
