So, the devs added plenty of spoopy stuff that you have to explore!
Here are some

Spoiler: Jack-in-the-box

Coords: 296 -415
If you go to the room at the coords(it's in the house with the attic)
You enter a room, and the door is locked. This starts the winding of a small box. When it stops, the box pops open and out comes a puppet!

Spoiler: Dead Winners

If you ever bother to look at the visible names on the gravestones, you might notice some familiar letters. The wynners of the hallowynn skynn contest were buried in the graveyard!

There are also 3 or 4 (depending on how you see it) armor stands stabbed to the groin in the hall past the large door after getting all 4 bits of dialogue.

Those are generic armor stands in a quest area
But yes, I've seen them, they're disturbing

 

there is a tree with a hole next to it, if u go in you get shooted out with a rocket ;3

also a grave that opens and shoots you out. the grave opens automaticly, really cool to check out!

There are several graves near the entrance of the graveyard that can be opened, if you go in, you may find yourself someone's "dinner guest". (Good luck getting out).

 

Go to [194/-353] and look west:

The lid of the grave slides off. Jump in and you find yourself in the company of a lovely talking skull:

There is a hidden button in the wall that opens a passage:

Go through and you get rocketed into the air!

I found some more easter eggs on the graveyard too:

• There are three pressure plates to the west of the grave with the talking skull that cry when you step on them, and near them is a tripwire that spawns a Ground Crawler mob.
• Between those pressure plates and the grave is a button on the wall that opens a hole in the ground. When you fall in, you get a message from another talking skull: "Welcome... to this grave... ... this... HAUNTED... grave... Is there an EXIT? ... Well... there is ONE!!! DeAtH!!!"
