Elves Were Native To Wynn Theory.

You at this point now believe I am insane.

And that is pretty respectable.

You are probably wondering what lead me to this madness.

About a year and a half ago, just before gavel came out and the teased the existence of Elves in gavel. I of course was trilled being a geek. At this time, people where pretty much loving Wynnexcavation site D and Amadel. I found this thread about someone who explored the Ancient City and found some Easter eggs and references to the eye. I tried searching for that thread but seeing as it may have been deleted by Jumla I decided to just link a thread to a Thread about it: https://forums.wynncraft.com/thread...-and-the-eye-in-wynnexcavation-site-d.112303/ . Anyway that was a year and a half ago and I didn't have a forum account, so no one would know my theory until now. I remembered that theory I made today so I decided to post it.

So lets get going.

Thousands of years ago (from what we know) The ancients found power within the eye. After using it they lost everything. Pretty much dooming their existence. They moved themselves away from the eye, yet they still became a former shell of themselves.

So you are probably wondering what this has to do with Elves being native to Wynn.

What if the Ancients are the predecessor to Elves. And many years ago they left Wynn and settled Gavel. Let me describe the events in:

Spoiler: the story of the Wynnian Elves

Imagine a Wynn where their is a more direct connection to the light. The Ancients have a great society built upon a love of the light, and a hated of evil. The leaders of the society are wise, some could say they have conversations with the beings of the light.

The leaders gather around one day to prepare to talk to the light, instead they get a terrible vision.

They see strange creatures mining green stones, then they are growing mad and attack each other, then the undead rise, and finally a short sight of the dreaded Portal. The leaders talk with themselves and realize they must find a way to stop this threat. They deiced to build a time portal, a means to counter the grow
corruption.

Work continues right away, however the population is kept unaware of the danger.

After the portal is completed and the leaders feel the corruption is at bay, a ancient, a common folk men, Has a vision warning him that the leaders have been corrupted and lead by the darkness and of a place across the seas where the Ancients can live happily. without the fear of evil.

What happens next isn't usual, the man rallies support, and after a rebellion sets sail for gavel where he finds the light is stronger. and the elven race is born.

Now you are telling me to kill myself.

But here is my evidence to back up my theory.

First of all, Elves are slimier to the Ancients. Normally this sounds like bad evidence to back up my theory. But consider both creatures have long life spans, There are Ancients still alive when you go to the city.

If we remember Ancients became sort of corrupted by the eye. They changed their form and turned into taller, blacker versions of themselves. In their pure state, they would have look like Elves. The Elves who wanted to remain pure left and the Ancients evolved from the Elves.

In a nutshell, Ancients are corrupted (or mutated) forms of Elves resulting in the striking difference between them.

My next piece of evidence is Wynnexcavation site C.

Yeah that was pretty random.

You are probably wondering why I bring up this Island...

Well, it because it is proof that Ancients once settled there.

This theory would never stand if Ancient could travel across the water! because they could at least travel to that volcano island, they could reach gavel.

And that is all my evidence.

yeah I know it seems far fetched and the is many reasons that it could be wrong.

part of why I made this thread was to do something I wanted to do for a long time. And now I did it.

 

Who cares if it's wrong or not? It's a theory, and theories are amazing whether they are wrong or correct! I still remember when I did my theory on the pirates and it got destroyed by a builder.

Also after reading this, I still fail to understand how Ancients became Elves. Try to structure your theory better, writing down thoughts as they come to you often confuses people.

 

You could say 'probably not good' instead of trash.

Hey, I pretty much wrote with a idea I had A YEAR AGO. I know there are bugs to work out.

Look back at it, its not really that Ancients became Elves, but Elves became Ancients.

See the "Ancients" before the eye, were just elves. That I know is a bit weird. What I'm trying to say is that Ancients are Corrupted forms of Elves if that makes more sense to you.

I would have compared their true state to humans more the elves, but I see your point

 

No, humans are too easily corrupted. They just aren't pure enough.

plus if I had to make this thread about humans evolving into elves i would have to start making 5 other theories about fruma in order for it to make sense. And the greatest rule of theorys is

Don't make theories about fruma.

 

Who said anything about humans to elves?
