Raw Spell Damage And Spell Damage% On Elements

Hello, so I have a few items that have +Spell Damage and +%Spell Damage. I am using an elemental damage weapon (Maelstrom) which has no neutral damage. I was wondering if +Spell Damage and +%Spell Damage worked on Elemental Damage. I tested it but did not see a significant difference. Is this true? Or can +Spell damage and +%Spell Damage work on both neutral and elemental. Also if they do, which element is it applied to? Thanks for your time! Please reply if you can answer any of these questions!

 

I don't know about %, but I do know that raw adds a set number of neutral damage to your weapon.

 

So raw spell damage doesn't increase elemental damage?

 

raw is purely neutral

 

You can test this, but I'm pretty sure it adds/ increases whatever kind of damage your spells inflict when you cast the spells.
