New Player Help

I'm a new player and I would like some explanations. What do the different skills do? What do powders do? Where are powder merchants found? Should I sell weapons that I can't use to players or to an Item Buyer npc? How do I get emeralds and xp? Why do flower pots drop emeralds? Do flower pots drop anything else?

 

Ok here are the anwsers .
1. skills are most L-R-L , L-L-L, L-R-R and by archer right mouse begin. ( all class has diffrent skills.
2. Powders upgrades your damage and by weapons if you add 2 same powder it will activate the powder"Special" Powders -> (Earth,Water,Fire,Air, Thunder)
3. wynncraft map look it up u can see where you are and all the merchants~!
4. It depnds on the weapon it self if its a unique or rare it mostly dont sell good and takes space so mostly they sell Legendary stuff.
5. Farm% Grind mobs.
6. cus they hide emeralds.

Powders upgrade your weapon... idk it's kinda hard to explain. Just search powder guide in the search bar on the forums, because I can't explain it lol
Powder merchants are found in every city.
Weapons that you can't use can be sold to both. If you believe the weapon to be good (aka worth selling to a player) then sell it. If the item is junk, then give it to the item buyer.
You get xp from killing mobs and doing quests. You get emeralds from killing mobs, doing quests, and selling stuff.
I have no idea why flower pots drop emeralds. I believe it's a reference to something, but I don't know what it's referencing (im such an idiot lol)
Flower pots drop emeralds and items. You can even get legendaries from them. I think.

I meant skill points and powder merchants don't show up on the map, only powder masters.

 

they dont sell powders u get them from farming mobs and skillpoints is mostly for your items like what you need bcs some items says required 10 STR or INT but read the skillpoints also.

 

Also, I'm a mage but I don't know how to cast spells. What key combinations do I use?

1. Spells are cast by using a combination of left-clicks and right clicks. For every class except archer, spell casting is started by right clicking. The first spell you get is Heal as a mage, which is casted by right clicking, left clicking, and right clicking again in rapid succession. Every ten levels, you will gain a new spell, up until level 31.
2. Powders add elemental damage to weapons and elemental defense to armor. in addition, they will convert a certain amount of neutral damage into the damage of their respective element. Powders that are tier four or higher will give special bonuses if two of the same element are used together.
3. Powder Masters, or powder merchants, are found in every major city in the game, with the exceptions of Gelibord (which is level 70) and Ragni. In addition, there is a powder master in the Nivla Woods.
4. Sell weapons and items you can't use to the item merchant. very few people are willing to pay for low level items, with the exception of Concentration, a legendary ring.
5. You get emeralds from selling items, killing mobs and completing quests. you also get XP from quests and mobs.
6. There is no real reason for this; they just kind of do
7. Flower pots have been known to drop items, and a few people have gotten legendaries from them
