Serious Trade Market Help

I don't know what I'm doing quite wrong. Everytime I post something on the trade market, I get at least 3 critics telling me my prices are completely wrong, but I ask others for pricing, because I'm no price expert. So, what's the deal? Are my prices bad, are the people I ask unreliable, is there a lot of controversy in the economy, or are people just trying to scam and/or be rude, (the internet being the internet). I could use a helping hand here, because I just want to have a nice time being a virtual merchant.

P.S. Let me know if this is in the wrong category, because apparently if I don't nail that, I get yelled at.

P.S.S DO NOT suggest the price check thread, I've given that place three chances and I get ignored.

 

What kinda prices do you usually suggest? It would be helpful to determine your problem, IE if your prices tend to be ridiculously low or high.
And yeah the economy is dead and there's a lot of different opinions on what prices are good.

 

I have a link to my shop in my signature, along with an auction for a 40 xp sage. What should have I expected from a Minecraft economy...

 

You seem to overestimate the quality of your IDs. Usually only maxed or one off max IDs increase the value of an item. Being "kinda good" doesn't really matter. For example, I'd only pay like 4 LE for the Aquarius if I was looking to buy one. 5/4 mana regen, while it is a lot of mana regen, is not great for Aquarius standards, and it's combined with a very low spell damage.

Regarding the Sage idk how much they're worth and have never done a real auction before so idk what to tell you.

Here's how I get my prices:
I go to another guys thread with the same item their selling (but worse), yet I always get comments like OMG IZ TU UVARPROOCUD SUD B 1LE FAK U I RUPERT UUUUUUUUUU

You should tell your customers to offer. If you're getting people to say that your prices are wrong, then make them come up with a price. If you don't like the offer, offer 1-2LE more than what the customer offered. Or less. Or maybe a few EB.
