Unable To Identify What Was Bobs Bow Before Gavel Update

As the title states, it wont let me identify my bow on my lvl 75 archer, it just keeps saying, "I can't identify this item! It can not be reidentified!" Any info would help, thanks.

Why does it have sharpness 2 lol its a bow

 

That's how the old powders worked. Blue powder added extra knockback to the weapon, Red added fire, and Green increased damage. They were all represented by enchantments.

Figured it out.

Bob's Mythic Weapons now have the "identified" tag, which means they come pre-identified, IF BOUGHT FROM THE SHOP. Items with the "identified" tag also cannot be RE-identified, so as to prevent items from becoming overpowered, such as re-identifying a Breezehands to get +2 attack speed tier on it.

Your bow has remained unidentified because it was not taken from the shop, but the game thinks it is already identified due to the tag.

Seems it's useless now.

 

Well, thanks for the help anyways. Luckily I had a extra corrupted treasure lying around in my bank from some random guy ~2 years ago that I was saving for another class, but will probably never use. So I used that and got another bow.

 

@_Star has the same issue, along with a few other players.
