Can You Get In Here? And How?

Been taking the slower, stop and kill the carnivorous roses, path on my third class. Found lots of caves and signs I didn't know were there before. Including this place:



This is "near" the Lost Soles quest, what I think of as all the way back to the right off the stairs. There are ancient idols, and if you go up to the structure you can see mobs tags in the hill.
Below this and to the left is the Mandrake cave, with a bunch of signs about a nearby cave in.
Below and to the left of that cave is a partial ruin that has blood that leads to a hidden door (?) I can't open?
So the three areas are close together and maybe related? There must be some way in because I see mobs inside the hill.
